Today I sat down and made an attempt (my 6th) to get my RSST running. It's my first genesis style rba and I've not had an easy time with the SS mesh. Matter of fact, I hate it. I don't even know if I like it still even though it's running well. I honestly think I get more and better flavor from my cheap Octopus (which I like more than the Igo-L).
How many tanks do I need to run through before this starts getting better? I'm about through 2 tanks and it's just... meh.
I did recoil it with 30 gauge kanthal to bring it from .9 to 1.4 (4 wraps). I'm using it on a Magneto and I'm not afraid of .9, but the vapor was lacking and I felt more wraps would bring out the vapor (it did).
I guess I"m a bit disappointed. I hear so many people rave about the awesome flavor of genesis style RBA's and I don't think I'm getting all I can out of it.
I do think I should drill out the air hole, but I don't have a drill. What would any of you suggest as a home method to drilling without a drill?
