Strangely, I don't think I've been getting the level of nicotine from cigarettes that I really needed. When I vape, I can dose myself so much more accurately. At first, it aggravated me that I wasn't getting the nicotine as quickly as with an analog.. but now, I'm realizing I can keep myself dosed to a point where I feel much calmer than before. It's just a slightly different routine.

Am I the only one? lol

I must admit, I'm not completely off (analog) cigarettes yet, which I hope to be doing soon. Just waiting for my first bottle of e-liquid to arrive from Totally Wicked. For me it seems that I might be dosing myself MORE with the e-cig than traditionally smoking. But I've read info here that that's normal. I just hope I don't let myself become a marathon vaper.

I have noticed vaping feels "cleaner" than smoking. So what you might be noticing is the LACK of all that nasty other stuff that's in analogs. All you're getting is the nicotine, which isn't nearly as dangerous as all the other stuff that's put in analogs. Just my $0.02

I agree, I find myself "calmer" when I dose as I want, but I found the other night at the bar, my battery ran out, and my spare was also not charged (DUH@!) and I got very irritable. I went almost 5 more hours without my ecig, and my wife wanted to know what was wrong (of course I didn't tell her about my ecig not working or I would never hear the end of it) Those non smokers just don't understand!!

Just be aware of the signs of nicotine OD. ...It's easier than you think when you're first trying to quit. Mainly because there are so many other additives in analogs that we are addicted to and suddenly trying to compensate for with e-cigs.

I highly recommend starting off with a medium level nic, 11 or 16, and go from there.

Good luck!

I don't plan on overdosing, but honestly, I'd be vaping non-stop with 11mg liquid. It doesn't quell the craving. 16mg barely does it, but it's close. So I'm thinking 24mg or 36mg.

Frankly I think I'm more likely to overdose on the lower stuff just because I'll have a tendancy to smoke it incessantly. I'm looking for something with a higher dose so I don't have to be glued to the thing, at least for now.
