I think I'm out of control :)

Hi,

I began vaping twice before, but two months ago I picked it up again. I wanted to make it work this time, so I approached it as a fun hobby. Getting excited over getting my almost-daily package in the mail helps me keep away from analogs. I also wanted to make sure I never ran out of carto's, so each time I ordered some juices, I tried ordering some cartomizers as well (if they had any).

But to tell you the truth, I've only been completely off analogs for three days. I smoked a lot less these past two months, from 2 to 5 cigarettes (and about a pack when going out, which luckily is only once a week). That's ok, I wanted to ease myself into it and not go cold turkey. But now I've decided that since I already spent so much on it, it's time to completely switch to vaping. If it works, the costs are completely justified.

So this is what I've got right now :

my_stash.jpg

I also have a Bloog PCC and a Volt battery that I seem to have misplaced, and I've got at least 10 more juices, 20 Dual Coil Echo-E cartomizers and a VaporLuxe mod coming my way.

The point of this thread? Well, I want to keep myself from ordering more stuff for at least two months from now, and completely stay off analogs... And I figured talking about it might help :)

(And I'm sorry if this comes off as showing off what I have - I'm quite aware that a lot of you probably have way more stuff than me, but I think two months in this is actually overdoing it a bit).

Thanks for the replies! :)

One of the reasons I have so much stuff is that I had a hard time finding juice that I like and that works well in my cartomizers. And each time I placed an order for new juice to try, I figured that since I was already paying for shipping, I might as well add some other stuff to it...

Good thing I now have 4 juices that I enjoy and that perform really well, and some more bottles I haven't tried yet - so I should be set for a while.
That is, until someone comes up with triple coil cartomizers that store unlimited juice in a parallel universe (or something else I'll want to try).

I dont see any good batteries. Lots of good stuff, but the batteries are the heart of the deal. Do you have any Ego's, E-powers, rivas?

Sure, there's two Riva's in the pic (but ECF made it so small that you can't see it very well). There's also an AA Box mod (for which I haven't received my charger yet as they were out of stock), and a Boge Revolution v2.1 in there, which also has a nice battery.

I know what you mean about some really good tasting juices being tough on equipment. Some of my favorite flavors can kill a carto in one day and/or have me cleaning my attys every couple of days.

As to using your stock for a couple of months: That is a good idea and there is a thread about a fellow who had a 90 day goal to not buy anything except a couple of bottles of juice. He only came up a couple of days short when his supplies ran out. I followed that thread for all three months and was really proud of him for sticking to his purchase moratorium for the whole thing. I hope you have as good of luck as he did.

Every now and then, I wonder if I could talk myself out of buying stuff for 60, 90, or maybe even 120 days. - And, in fact, I've been cutting down on extraneous purchases for a few weeks. I have plenty of supplies to go for maybe even longer if I had to. - My problem isn't so much a lack of juice, cartos, and attys, but instead, there are a lot of cool PVs I don't own yet still out there. I have 3 expensive PVs, and a couple of inexpensive ones that I'd like to own... Once I have them all, I don't think anything would be stopping me from not buying anything else for at least 4 months. -- Of course, I'd also have to cut way back on my visits to ECF because there's always someone here telling me about another cool pv or another flavorful juice or a new kind of carto or atty out that performs...

Anyway: Good luck with your two months of no spending. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks again for all the replies, I really appreciate it!

I've got this android widget that calculates how much money I don't spend on cigarettes. If my rough calculations are correct, I should break even in 3 months, and my stash should last me quite a bit longer than that. So all in all it seems like a good investment.

Out of control? Humm - how about: Just a little overstocked at the moment. Sounds better, at least lol. What's your report on the Revolution v2.1?

Well, I really like it, but the battery seems to be hitting a little bit less "hard" than the Riva's. I can hear my carto's crackling and popping a little bit less, and also get a little bit less vapor (or maybe it's just less warm, not sure). But other than that, it's great. Good battery life and you can bring a lot of juice with you, but at this point I can't decide which juice I'd want to fill it with yet...

Oh, right, I forgot to add my carrying cases in my photograph. Nice setup! I'd love to try out some BWB myself, but they don't ship to Europe. Someone offered to order me some and send it to me, but it will have to wait until after the two months...

You are a true addict. If you aren't vaping 36mg, then stop trying to kid yourself and order nothing less than 36mg.
