Like most people i started off with an analog look-alike(kr808) and it lasted me maybe 2-3 weeks max before it was in the garbage and I was back to analogs.
Then I bought an ego and followed it through a few revisions from the ceramic carto's then to the tank the clearomizers etc and eventually gave it up after 7-9 months or so because it still wasnt quite what i wanted.
I really want something that is reliable. Something that doesnt require me ordering new bits and pieces weekly. Is it so much to ask for a PV that works?

So now that I have that out of my system down to the real question. Which mechanical mod/hybrid would you suggest? I do understand that they are fiddly and thats ok because I like fiddly. Fiddly means I can fix it myself instead of paying $4 for a new atty every time it blows. I have been looking at the IHybrids which are beautiful pieces, but they are never in stock. Is there a decent mechanical hybrid that is regularly available anywhere.

Short answer, NO! These are in great demand and are made by people in small shops with low output capabilities, as well many of them work full time jobs and just do this for fun.
There are signs of clones coming in from China, but it's any ones guess how well they will work!
If you really want one, the best advice I can give is to get verified and watch the classified section of this forum. BUT, be ready to pay whatever the price asked is, and be ready to jump on it quickly! I've seen IHybird's go for $20 less than new and I've seen them go for $200 more than new! There have been a lot of Zenisis, IHybird and NGP devices listed lately if you can spend the time watching for them.
