Get the 1.5 ohm Kanthal heads and use it in wattage mode and you will be much happier.

I can't see anywhere that says kanthal but when I search for kanthal these come up.

Yes. The 1.5 ohm coils there is what you need.

Both of the coils on that page are Kanthal. Not for Temperature Control.

Thanks, I'll order a box now! As its not sub-ohm would you suggest staying around 8-15 watts with these coils? Also will they use a little less juice?

1:
Just start low and move up gradually in watts whenever you put in a new coil.
Dry coils take some time for the wick to break in.

2:
Lower wattage uses up less juice.
