I spent over $1000 my first month.

wow, thats a lot of cash. i spent about $150 my first week. was gonna order a second kit but puresmoker was out of stock.im hoping to hold out a few weeks now till i get more pay before having to order more spare parts. i am hoping this will be cheaper than cigs.if its the same, at least its healthier(as far as we know;))i do hope it dosnt end up being more expensive though, times are tough lately....

welcome to my world,
I am spoiled rotten by my hubby,
if I like it, I can have it.

He is 1 in a million,
when everyone else had to smoke outside, I didn't.
more amazing because he has never smoked-
he has put up with stinky me for over 28 years
and financed my disgusting habit.

Now,
I have a huge collection of e-cigs,
all 801 and 901.
I could easily open a store,
but --------
THEY'RE MINE - ALL MINE
BWAA HA HA HA HA ........
D i .......

I'm a sicko, simply a sicko because now I hardly smoke OR vape (perhaps once or twice a week) yet I religiously buy new devices as they come out, have a fridge full of juice, spend a considerable period ogling my e cigs daily and religiously read this forum! haha God help us! 8-o

You know, I think this is the first reference I've seen to keeping e-juice in the refrigerator. Now I'm curious, is this recommended or just convenient for you?

You know? I spend quite a bit on e-smoking.. prolly way more than I ever did on analogs. And if I had bought a couple of key devices and the proper supplies, it could have been so much cheaper. I blame the "free shipping @ $100" for my juice collection. I have added so many bottles of juice to orders of batts and atomizers to make that $100 mark, I don't need any for years...

Of course I don't regret it... a huge collection of juice truly is a joy :)

I've spent £630.00 in just under 3 weeks! However, a lot of that was because I placed an order for a huge amount of juice today, plus some more spare atomisers, just in case the UK government try something along the lines of what has just happened in Australia.

I haven't yet completely quit analogues, but if I do (and I hope I do) then I'll break even sometime around July 2009. If I continue smoking analogues at the reduced rate I've been smoking them since I discovered the e-cig then my expenditure in 2009 will be around the same as if I'd simply continued smoking normally, so I think the cost is worth it.

It might be even less than smoking a 20-piece pack of cigarettes.

How Long Do The Cartridges REALLY Last?
Speaking from personal experience...we have found that a a 20 a day smoker might get through between 3 and 5 cartridges a day (depending on model being used). Obviously lighter smokers will use fewer cartridges than heavier smokers. This is an honest evaluation. Many other retailers quote that a single cartridge was the same as 20 cigarettes. SImply not true! We don't want you to be dissapointed with your purchase.

Here's another realistic estimate of cartridge values:

Super Minis (RN4081, RN4088, DSE103, etc...):
About 1-3 cigs worth (20-30 puffs)
Mini (DSE901, etc...):
5-6 cigs worth (50-75 puffs depending on how you puff)
Pen (DSE801, RN4072, etc...):
7-10 cigs worth (up to about 100 puffs)
eCigar:
10-12 cigs worth (up to about 120-130 puffs)
Pipe (DSE601, etc...)
Atleast 14-15 cigs worth.

Updating since I figured out exactly how much I've spent. I added it to my sig.

I guess it could be worse than what I've spent from reading what some of you all are paying out. Yikes!

I'm hoping that the day will come that I'll break even but even if I don't - I'm so glad to finally have the smoking monkey off of my back. Its worth it!

Hello all--im from north west england and new to this forum. :)thankfully gave up smoking November 2008.
I got my super e cig as an early christmas present, and as i was only a light smoker i find 1 cartridge lasts 24 hours on average. This means i am only spending an average of 60 pence per day, so my savings have been great!!!
Best of luck to you all for a happy, healthy 2009.
