I think we need a V4L PIF sticky thread

Ok, here is what I think. Some of the other vendors have a PIF sticky thread in their site. It is, of course, used by people to pass on things they do not want anymore. However, and this is the BIG part. Sometimes people will request or send out samples for others to try. AND...I think it will result in purchases. Just today I recived a sample (Arnie Pallmer) from another vendors PIF thread. It is a pretty good combination of sweet tea and lemonaide. I liked it so much I ordered some. I know there are V4L (my favorite) juices that I have thought sounded good but I didn't buy because I didn't want to get a whole bottle. Maybe if we had this thread we could increase intrest in V4L!!!

If you look at the top of the Stickies you will see the "Swap" sticky. For all intensive purposes it is the same as a PIF sticky from other vendors.

Hmmmm... Never had an issue pifing to people over the past 11 months without having the thread though. You could always use the swap thread for the same reason though, instead of offering for swap or g/c just say you have such and such flavor or item available for pif....

Are we talking about a pif thread where one person makes an offer, then the next person takes the offer and makes their own offer, and the next person interested takes that offer and offers their own...

Or are we taking about a treasure chest thread, with freebies up for offer?

A PIF thread like the one described above but just for v4l juices would be fun. I wish we had more PIF threads. It's like swap but not all messy, it's one offer at a time....

A treasure chest thread, I don't think we need another one.....I think just use the current treasure chest thread that is for all tcs...

No, I like the one where when you accept the offer that has been presented you make an offer of your own. (You can still ask for items you are interested in.)

Yeah i've never had an issue either .If I pif ,its usually to someone i know anyway and i know the character of the people on here and they do pif That thing on the main forum seems so complicated .In fact.i just pifd something to someone on facebook v4l.

I moderate in the PIF subforum.If you want to do just V4L I would suggest just offering your freebees in the swap thread.Just remember its up to you who you give it to because sometimes people from other subforums jump in and try to grab everything.It can be frustrating to deal with.Maybe we could change the name of the thread to V4L swaps and freebees.

Yeah I know there is a PIF forum but I think Kimberly just thought it would be fun to have a pif (not tc) thread here just for v4l. I like the idea too, the more pif threads the funner I think. I used to participate regularly in a forum (non-ecig related) that would have 10 differently themed pif threads going at once. It was a lot of fun. But people do have to be interested in playing or else its no fun. If the thread is going to be slow all the time that's not so much fun. I guess from responses in this post so far its not looking like people are real receptive to it..

I think maybe alot of us don't have extra laying around to do that .Its more feasible for some of us who have moved up /down in nic level to just pay someone in gc or even swap .I have participated quite a bit in the swap thread and it helps the budget quite a bit on both sides ,thats just me tho .

P.S.: I would love to see a PIF sticky here, as I am dying to "try" the Banana Breeze, but am not about to purchase a whole bottle of it. (I was supposed to be getting a sample, but apparently that fell through . . .)

You think that's funny you should talk to Davo. I went to send him a sampler carto of No. 7 and decided to toss in a couple of other flavors too. A couple of days pass and Davo gets my package. Apparently I put 1 filled carto of another flavor and 2 blank cartos in the package. Needless to say...no No. 7.



As I had mentioned in the Review Coming post I've been sick for the last week. I think the combination of codeine cough syrup and Tylenol PMs were causing brain damage.

I agree that there's no NEED for a pif here, but it could be fun. Depends on how active it is.

I think it might be interesting to pioneer a sampler-based pif thread. Something like 1 filled carto up to 5ml of a juice, and that's the offer. Not efficient shipping-wise, but small offers like that would allow people like myself with not a ton to spare to actively participate without feeling guilty about a tiny follow-up offer.

But yeah, for TC, may as well just put it in the swap thread
