I just got a bottle of nic out of the freezer and it was half frozen. The top was liquid but the bottom half was frozen solid. I noticed when I went to shake it up. I thought nicotine wouldn't freeze. It is 50/50 blend.

You just saw the different viscosity between the two. The VG just looked solid because it was being compared to the PG.
(Glass isn't really a solid either, but it sure can fool a person with how slow it flows.)

There must be water separation because nic will not freeze unless you are storing it in liquid nitrogen.
I always freeze in 100% pg so I have not had this happen. Good luck to you though in your DIY'ing. It is a bunch of fun.
