Ive got the screwdriver mk2 with a 510 converter and LR carto tank but you may know that with a ICR 18350 battery on a full charge i am vaping at 4.2 volts for about the first 10 to 12 drags, then it drops to 3.7 for a long 10 to 12 hours. Ive gotten addicted to the first few drags at that higher voltage so ive got to go up in voltage what is a good vv mod for a really cheap price mad vapes VV boxmod has been one thing i keep looking back at but is that the best for my money? Any suggestions??

Lavatube, if you own an Ego there's a VV battery that you could get to play with? You could try a 5V box mod, you could build or buy one built. I think they are around $35 and that would get you 5 volts.

A silver bullet can get you 6 volts. Trying to think of other solutions or ways to try cheaply. I think the lavatube is restricted or is off. I remember seeing tests and it's protected and is off on voltage and appears limited by circuit design.

You can research that and not get mad at me for saying the truth.

I just went VV myself and am LOVING it. I use the detonator by Mister-E-Liquid.com Its slightly more expensive then your typical box mod but it feels SO well made, it also has a rubbery coating protecting the circuitry. Not sure if that's standard when you buy box-mods or not. It also has a "juice cup" to protect the mod if you over fill your cartomizer or atty from juice getting into the circuitry. I love this thing. It's all I use. I believe the cost for just the box-mod was $55. Uses 2 14500 batteries.

If you're often at a desk or in a car, a simple true 5V pass-through is pretty cheap and reliable, one without a battery or regulator. About $25 total for a PT plus a 2Amp USB power supply (either car or wall runs about $10). You're limited to only going down to about 2.5 ohms, but at that resistance you'll have 10W power (I tend to stay around 8W, in other words 3 ohms at 5V). For my first 8 months I used normal KR808D-1 or Riva 510 batteries for moving around, and a passthrough at work or in my car.

This is just another option. I know lots of people really like fixed 5V, and others like VV. Me, I'm VV, but use notcigs products. They run about twice the price of a less expensive model, however they provide true regulated voltage and decent upper power limit (15W), and are noticeably lower cost than say a Provari (a nice PV, if the features are ones that you want).

The KSD eGo VV Passthroughs from Canvape are terrific with just about anything attached to them. Very nice for dripping as well. Holds a charge for a long time and can be used while charging.

It looks like the KSD referenced is somewhat adjustable volt-wise?

Also, would there be a problem of Canvape sending one down here to the US? Import fees or whatever?

Thanks
