ok, ok. so i do single coils on a hana, 1.6-1.7ohm every time. i dont need anything like whats coming out now with the 4 and 6 posts, the veritas, anything like this. what i want is a nice and simple rda that only has two posts and a good bit of room for me to build on, and only one airhole. stainless steel everything if possible. seems like getting this at this point is nearly impossible huh? i would be into a tugboat for sure, but they have two airholes, so thats kinda out. i want to avoid having to plug one of them up if possible.

i guess my options at this point are basically the youde igo-l 2-post model and nothing else, right? since im only gonna be singlecoiling with this, two airholes is unnecessary. im using an igo-w now with two airholes and ive got one closed off. im fine with drilling the single airhole out in something new, but i dont want all of this adjustable airflow control or anything else-just wondering if anybody around here might have a good idea for me.

I use my Magma clone with a single coil and find it fantastic. It has an airflow ring which means that you can close off the unused airhole (as it can be used dual coil).
I do see a lot of people on this forum that also use it in single coil mode, so we are not alone in the quest for a nice single coil dripper.

There is an expensive option...Atomizer «ACHILLES»
To me, this fits your 'something nice' description, along with the single coil, two posts etc.

I also have a small single coil dripper from fasttech, the flavour is good, but it is a massive PITA to build on and the 510 pin is so bad that it is close to being a dead short. I will not bother posting a link to it.

I'd say either that Igo-L you mentioned, or its little brother, Igo-S; I was hating on RDAs because the one I had first, the Caterpillar, is a dual-coil dripper and has holes on both sides, so even though the ring slides, you still have 2 holes open at minimum, and it's just horrible, so much air, there's no flavor at all -- but then Rossum put me on to the Igo-S, and I really like it, you can actually taste something from it, and not feel like you're trying to "smoke a straw." And both of those Igos are really cheap too!

I'll second the Magma. Very accessible to build on, very deep drip well, has the ability to use single or dual coil and also has three different sized air holes x 2 but can easily be used as a single hole, size of your choosing. Another good feature is it's ability to set and lock the AFC with the threaded top cap so you don't get that PITA you get with some where the AFC moves round each time it gets a nudge. Flavour superb.

Been looking for this too - check out fasttech's igo-w: it has 3 posts and a single airhole for around $6.00
The extra post could be used as a spare in case the other negative post gets stripped or whatever

I use the W and the L. (Single Airholes)

Like the OP I use single coils around 1.8. I have also drilled the airhole out a tad.

Both have been said but,
Magma or Cyclone.
Both love higher ohm builds, are 2 post design, and both are flavor beasts.

That Magma intrigues me, that deep juice well. But the pics I'm seeing online, it looks like there are 2 holes in the coil-mounting area, are they air holes? I like a fairly tight draw, which is why I've been following this thread quite avidly -- I also like single-coil, one air hole designs.

I'm guessing that rayon would wick like a champ in that, with those long wick ends dangling into the juice well.

The Magma can use one air hole or two, the holes are offset enough you can choose to have one or both open and you have 4 hole sizes for each hole to choose from. I use mine with a single .8 ohm coil at about 14 watts on my Hana and love it.
