I have a sigelei 150W TC. I built .12, .16, .20. I don't really care about sub ohming, I just want a Nice long Juicy Drag that produces Great vapor without sacrificing my throat. I have a Kennedy rda, Velocity coming in the mail. Current Wire on hand is a 24G nichrome 80.

Any suggestions on what kind of coil build?

I have no experience with TC or Ni wire, but, in general, I've found that larger diameter coils allow for a longer draw. Maybe something in the 2.5-3.0mm range.

I did 12 Wraps around a 2.4 I can finally get a longer draw. But the Vapor seems thin to me. Trial and error till I find my sweet spot.

6 wrap 2 strand parallel on a 3mm should give you what you want. Or twist the 2 strands of N80 together in a drill & go for 8ish wraps on a 2.5 or a 3mm bit

8 Wraps on a Twisted 24g around 3.0mm Like a charm. But I also switched my RDA to a Velocity. It's perfect now

In the kennedy, use a dual coil setup. I generally use 22 gauge kanthal wrapped 8 times on a 3mm bit and I get great hits. The lower resistance will cause the coil to heat less quickly which gives you a longer pull. with 24g, use less wraps. Maybe 6-7 on a 3mm. Shoot for around .2 ohms and you should be good to go.

Right now I"m using a twisted 24G around 3MM with 8 wraps. Also using a Velocity RDA I can juice this thing up with no leakage and it seems to be doing a good job wicking as well.

I have been doing 3 strands 28g n80 twisted, then made into spiral with toothless pliers, wrapped on 2.5mm bit with 7 wraps, loving this on my Sapor's. My velocity clone has basically the same but one more strand, me and four strand do not work well together...lol. Know it's simple but pretty effective.

Can you show me a picture? Right now I finally got my Kennedy to wick correctly with a twisted 24G 6 Wraps with the Scottish Roll Wicking style

Try out a fused 28g with 36g Clapton parallel to a strand of 24g in the Kennedy. 24g N80 fused Claptons come out super low ohm and really hot. 6 wraps on a 2.5mm bit is literally .15(+/-.02) per coil. Also N80 ribbon is fun stuff. SFC's with 36g & .5mm ribbon come out looking and vaping great.
This is 28/38 fused with 40g (was going to do a 28/38 stagger fused but halfway into the fuse I got annoyed because the wires are so small) parallel to polished 24g N80 in my Kennedy 24.

One half is stagger fused the other side is both Claptons (sloppy) fused together. The post spacing in the Kennedy 24 is the same as a Kennedy 22. I'm currently running one strand 24g & one strand 26g N80 fused with 40g N80. 6 wraps on a 3mm bit.

What's a Scottish roll wick? And complex isn't the word I'd use. For a stagger fused the word I'd use is tedious. Extremely tedious.

Rip just put out a video on it, using ... cotton stretched way out and rolled up, like a cinnamon roll!

Tom I'm curious about the build on the right you did above, with the Claptons fused. There's a pair of Claptons in there fused together correct? How is that compared to a standard fused Clapton?

It is a standard fused Clapton, but with two different wire gauges for the core wires. So there's one strand of 24g N80 & one strand of 26g N80 claptoned together with 40g N80. Works the same as a fused Clapton with the same gauge core wires. The reason I did it like that is because I had a 26g fused with 40g 6 wrap on a 3mm in there at first, but I wasn't getting enough heat off the build. So I grabbed a strand of 24 & a strand of 26g & fused them together and the vape is just where I like it.
