I personally use 22g Kanthal wire, dual 6-7 wrapped and it comes out to about .2-.25 ohms. I find that this allows me to get long hits on it. Are you dripping enough in there? I usually over drip sometimes, but I always make sure I fill my juice well all the way up.. You should definitely be able to get some good long hits with that. I've never used the Kennedy rda before but I've heard good things about it.. I don't know exactly how big the juice well is but make sure you fill that baby up and the cotton is wicked down into it!

My Velocity will come in the mail this week, Right now on this Kennedy Comp, If I over drip it gets ugly.

I'm not an expert or anything, but try using thinner wire and less wraps. Having that many wraps with that much power concentrates a lot of heat in one spot. The wick cant keep up. The part under the coil dries up and the juice in the tails cant feed fast enough. Try 26g 8 or 9 wraps, a bigger diameter or spaced coils. Or duals.

Hope that helps
