I have maybe 15 'friends' on FB and about 150 requests for friends. Of those 15, 12 either have the same last name as me or did before they got married. <g>
There's some sort of weird competition on FB (and now here?) to amass "friends". Just strikes me as insecure, frankly. If you're my friend, you know it -- you don't need to be on my friend list to know for sure.
On FB I've heard from people I had classes with in the second grade. Newsflash -- we were placed in the same classroom, that doesn't make us friends. LOL
To the OP, I hope you make a lot of "friends" if that's what makes you happy. Apparently, ECF's Father Luke felt the same way.

XD I didn't want to scare anyone lol. I just wanted someone to chat with without starting a thread and that I wouldn't scare by just randomly PMing them asking how their day was lol

Friends are always good. I suppose you could consider everyone on ECF a friend in that if you ever have a question, someone WILL respond to it.
