My mom got this from NetFlix and we watched it Saturday night when she came to visit. It's a campy classic and over the top a la Little shop of Horrors (but not nearly as good.) It's definitely a lot more fun seeing it in the theater with the audience "side show!"

If you need audience participation in order to sell movie tickets, your film sucks. JMHO.

NCC seems to be one of the few people that's hitting on some of the non-mainstream flop-fests out there...if you thought Attack of the Killer Tomatoes was bad how about George Clooney in Return of the Killer Tomatoes?

Naw, for worst movie ever I have to vote for "Manos" Hands of Fate. Which is funny because for best movie ever I think I'd have to go for Mystery Science Theater 3000's version of "Manos" Hands of Fate.... At the end of the movie you see another car driving forever with the same background prompting a comment from Crow of "Oh my God the movie's lapped itself!"

Wow, people really go out to movies still :)??

I couldn't tell you the last movie I saw in a theater, I know I haven't been since my son was born, and he is 24 now.
I just can't sit still for that long. Back in the day I could hardly get through a 30 min TV show. Each time a commercial would come on I flip and then forget to go back.

Now with DVR, thats a thing of the past.

Inception (2010). It was so pseudo-intellectual, inconsistent and just outright stupid that I can't stop wondering why so many people like it. Bad script, piles of money spent. Total rubbish.

I think I mentioned this one too but can't remember. at any rate, totally agree. It's pure crap.

Awwww. I love Rushmore.

Ditto. It's one that gets better with more viewings.

Gangs of New York could have been a great movie if they had cut about an hour and a half out of it.

It's a bit long, but still great imo. Underrated for sure. DD Lewis+ Scorsese for the win.

Just a to put a different spin on this subject for a moment....bad remakes. There are many great movies that someone decided to remake and proceeded to do a hack job. Notable films where the originals or predecessor are good....and the remake horrible:

1. Titanic is possibly the worst big-budget film ever and yet a predecessor, A Night to Remember is a classic great.

2. War of the Worlds. Yeah....the world is burning, but a divorced father getting to know his children better is the theme?

3. The Day the Earth Stood Still. Don't know where to start to say what went wrong in this remake.

4. Poseidon. Hackman from the original versus Russell? No contest....

5. Planet of the Apes. Money and special effects don't make a movie....a script does.

6. I am Legend. The Omega Man and Last Man on Earth were both better.

Won't list movie remakes of TV shows as that is something a little different, but lots of bad movies there too.
