Hey guys,

Just got my first e-cig, and I absolutely love it!

Got it over the counter at a tobacco shop no less, and I know what you're all gonna say when you hear what model it is...

it's a DSE103. Came with 5 cartridges, the box is a charger, etc... all black.

I know it's an old model, but you know what, it suits me just fine!

Here's my problem:

It only came with one battery, and when I get an extra one I want it to be a manual one. I know the RN4081 manual batt will work. I also want to get some extra atomizers in case mine craps out. Do any suppliers IN CANADA carry parts for this? Closest I've found is nosmoke4u in cali... They have the RN4081 batt I want, but they don't carry DSE103 atomizers, only the RN4081. To further annoy me, I was willing to switch to the RN atomizer, but they don't have any cartridges in black, only white and brown. I'd like to order everything in one stop... Anybody know where I can find what I need without having to ship from China?

Thanks for any help!

Congratulations on making one of the best choices of your life: to quit smoking & start vaping.

OK so as you already know...the RN-4081 is definitely an outdated model, with a short battery life. The batteries are only 100 mAh. An hour of heavy vaping & it's recharge time. When I first started vaping, I went with the Joye 510 (180 mAh) and was really happy with it. Still am, actually - even though I've got a 900 mAh Joye Mega eGo now as my main PV. Anyway...lots of folks frown over the relatively short battery life on the 510 (approx. 2 hours use, 1 hour to charge)...and it has nearly double the battery life of the RN-4081.

As the scarcity of RN-4081 parts indicates, it's not a model that's in demand much anymore. So I think eventually it'd be wise to at least consider getting the Joye 510.

But for now, since you're enjoying your RN-4081 (which is what matters)...you need a good supplier! And we're here for you Crow. Let's see what we can find...

OK I don't know much about this supplier (AZ Smoke Free), but they appear to have everything you're looking for - batteries (even manual ones), cartridges (pre-filled or empty), atomizers, cartomizers, wall chargers, a passthrough - even a PCC (albeit as part of a starter kit) - all for the RN-4081. And they're in Arizona!

Here's the manual batt link:
The Better Way To Smoke - Manual Battery for RN4081, White w/orange led

And here's a link to all their RN-4081 stuff:

I also found several posts (including some here on the forum) where people said they had a notably good experience with this supplier - quick & friendly service, personal responses, speedy resolution of any problems, etc. Couldn't find any negative posts about 'em...so it's looking good.

Just to be totally on the safe side, to make sure your stuff gets here without delay...I'd recommend the blank cartridges instead of the pre-filled.

Hope that helps!

Meanwhile, looking forward to seeing you in the Canada forum as soon as you've got your 5 newbie posts under your belt. Happy vaping, and happy Boxing Day (for...43 more minutes!

Oh wow, thank you! I will probably step up to a newer model in the future, but since I JUST got this, I want to use it for a little while, even if it means getting a couple more batteries. From what I've read, the only gripe about the DSE103 and RN4081 is the size of the carts, which don't hold much liquid. However, everyone says the attys on these are rock solid and reliable, which is important in my books.

Having to carry an extra batt or two is no big deal ;)

Thanks for your help!
