First let me start by saying I am not a smoker but my husband is & I am so desperate to stop him from smoking I thought that E-Cig's might just do the trick. He has agreed to try it & I have read all the comments about who has the best 1's & which 1's taste the best or close to what you already smoke "NEWPORTS" & I have decided to go with Drew & his NUPORT or the 555 Menthol, but here is the ? what all do I REALLY NEED 2 buy "I don't want to be jerked around because I'm a newbie" I just need something he can try to see if he can deal with them & not the Cancer Sticks. Please help me if anyone knows Drew please ask him to reply to this post please. Thank you.

I would suggest a small (~10ml) bottle or two of other flavors your husband might like that do not contain mint/menthol flavors in case the minty-ness doesn't come across well in vaping, versus his Newports. Peach-Mango is my goto flavor.

For a menthol that is Very very close to what smokers are used to -

Backwoods Brew medium menthol

I never cared for menthols but I do help a lot of local noobies and have found this to be very acceptable for first time vapors. Not everyone will agree as taste IS subjective. Or so I'm told.
