Hi there,

2 months into the world of vaping I want to have a go and make my own juice

I have read through the forum and believe I need the following items please advise or guide otherwise:

- 1ml dropper
- Flavouring
- 60mg Nicotine
- Glycerine (I want to make PG juice)
- Syringe (unsure what type)
- empty bottles
- disposal gloves
- juice calculator (there are so many which one is simple to use??)

Any ideas on what would should be my first reciepe to try? something tasty and simple?

Any ideas where there are video tutorials to guide me?

Please advise if I am going down the right road? and tweak my list as required

Thanks guys for your continued help and support

I'm not quite sure how much you want to invest to get going or what places are best to suggest you order since you are in the UK, so this is more US-centric.

Perfumer's Apprentice is generally the best prices for PG/VG, unless you want to order huge sizes. Maybe Liberty Flights is a better option for you though. PA has the best prices on their own flavors, unless you just want sample sizes, then you might want to go OneStopDIYShop, since their 6ml is about the same price as PA's 4ml.

Ecigexpress is by far the best value on Flavor Art and they have now expanded the 30ml sizes to 10ml in a lot of flavors. The 10ml is about the same value as PureVapes, and PV has 3ml sizes so you might want to check them out to sample flavors. Here again, Liberty Flights might be a better option for you.

PA & FA flavors are your bread and butter, don't use Lorann's. Decadent Vapours is great quality stuff and there is an array of options if you are in the UK. US people are stuck with Totally Wicked as the only option. Seedman's might interest you for tobacco stuff. Capella's is easy to use but mostly pastry flavors.

Glycerine is VG, but I suggest at least 20% VG even if you want more PG juice. (I like 80/20 too).

Some people say to, but I don't think those DIY kits are a good value. You don't want to keep reusing disposable gloves. Get a box somewhere for 5 quid or so. I like the pipette pump sold by OSDIYS. 10ml one is nice and big to work with VG. You can go with the little disposable pipettes but they get to be a pain.

1/3/5 ml syringes are handy. Put a piece of tape over the numbers so they don't rub off. You need a big 14 gauge or lower needle to pull VG usually.

People suggest to start with 50mg nic or lower but I started 100mg. If you can't be careful from the start you never will be. Empty bottles your best bet might be non-vape type stores, not sure for the UK.

Calculator, I use eJuiceMeUP. Scubadan's is popular too.

Videos? Search youtube maybe. Flavors/recipes? Depends what you like.

As aprioristic said, eJuiceMeUp is popular and easy. The download includes recipes that have been submitted, and you can save your own.

I'm really new to vaping and DIY, and I just got a few flavors that would compliment each other. Raspberrry, chocolate, maraschino cherry and creme de menthe. I made some with only creme de menthe and it's really good all by itself. Good luck.

I would suggest starting with single flavor juices in small quantities first. You can easily mix up two 5 ml batches each of a different single flavor and them mix them in varying proportions and see if you like them mixed together; and if so- in what proportion. Always order a sweetener (I use cotton candy) a small amount 1-2% won't really make juice sweet but it's wonderful for smoothing out almost any DIY juice. I have no recommendations for a UK based vendor for supplies, perhaps someone in the UK forum could help you with that?
