I was able to block the Social Networking buttons!

I had loaded a utility called Adblock Plus. Originally I just wanted to block ads, but it can also be used for blocking the social networking buttons, yeah!!!! I just did it and now they are gone... oh happy day!

You're welcome Handy not only for here but for all sites now. I just don't understand the need for these things. Maybe it is handy for teens and 20-somethings that can't seem to go 10 minutes without checking up on their friends, but I manage just fine without any of it. Guess I'm just an old fogey.

I can't download Adblock Plus because (apparently) my Google Chrome is not Version 16 or higher.
