hi. im a pretty new vaper. 2 months no cigs. i wish ecigs were not so new. i wish i didnt waste 25 years on menthol analogs. i wish that ecigs weren't in fear of being being banned in us the same way my husbands cloves were. i wish this technology was available to us 20 years ago. i did the path. i did the gum. i did the pills which gave me horrid nausea. thank you ecigs! thank you for giving my kids a smoke free home. thank you for giving me hope for the future.

i read yesterday about a new guy to the forum whos friends who keep trying to get him to smoke so he wants an ecig. im sorry dude. those people are not your friends. anyone who comes up to me. i steer them the hell away from smoking. and if they never started?> ecigs dont exist.

thank you to having me in your pv community and helping me get off the poison which gripped me to death.

Congrats on two months tobacco-free!

I smoked for over twenty years myself and thanks to vaping, I haven't gone this long without tobacco in 18 years. vaping rocks.

Vaping will probably be the reason I will live many more happy years. An ecig took away most of my cigs the first week and I finally dropped the last few only to find that I don't miss them, either. Vaping is a miraculous way to transfer the nicotine habit and alleviate all the deadly chemicals.

I have been smoke free for about 4 months. Luckily I had a friend who trolled this place and started me out right with an ego and good juices (Like CC and Miss T) What I am addicted to now is the extra money I don't spend on cigs! BTW Dave- Nice Les Paul w p90s is that yours?

I share your sentiments. I wish this technology was available 40 years ago, or 60 years ago when my father started smoking.

Don't fear a ban though. Clove cigs were banned because they were not tobacco. E-cigs were recently declared a tobacco product and, according to well settled law, tobacco products cannot be banned. If they could, some states would have already done it. The worse that can happen is that they are treated exactly the same as analogs. Legislation can make it more expensive and inconvenient, but we all found ways to get around that with analogs; we can do it with e-cigs. There are a lot of issues to fear regarding the future of e-cigs. A ban is not one of them.

That said, it might be prudent to store some nic juice in the freezer. When the axe comes down, juice and nicotine base will be the main targets.
