I would like everyone's opinion on my next setup.

So my tax refund will be here shortly, and my dovpo dual topside squonk broke. So I want to get into rdtas since it's different from the squonk, and with non squonk mods your options are a lot better than the squonkers. ( My dovpo dual topside is one of two dual battery squonkers in existence) the dovpo is really nice but I think I got a lemon because I haven't had it long and only dropped it twice. Now the screen and battery compartment are loose and I have to push up from the battery panel and apply pressure for it to read the batteries

I also want to try an rdta because you get the same exact hit every time since it's continuously wicking. ( The only thing I don't like about rdtas is how tall they are) but oh well no big deal.

So I had the profile ps rda dual nexmesh A1 strips parallel mode (.07ohm) 130 watts.

I want to try the hell vape helheim s30mm rdta, and want to get the dovpo Riva DNA250c. It's the cheapest dual bat mod with a dna chip that can fit a 30mm rdta.

I'm not expecting more flavor for say than the profile ps with A1 strips, but I'm expecting it to be the same or at least almost as much flavor. I just also want something different(I like the way claptons hit) and I want to put claptons in the s30. Not sure which ones so recommend me those down below. I like quick ramp up time and poppyness and saturated flavor. There's a lot of room in the deck so it can take 4mm coils.


My main question is, is there a different mod or rdta that you'd recommend? Let me know down below.

What's the got the most flavor Besides the setup I had before? Is there a different DNA chip mod I'd recommend?

If you were to use SS mesh or coils you could take advantage of the Replay feature with that mod which would stop dry hits.

With proper whicking the rdta shouldn't ever go dry. Anyway how does the replay feature work with stopping a dry hit?

I'm for sure getting this mod I guess I mainly want to know if there's a better option for an rdta. Has to be rdta. Has to be able to fit dual coils 4mm inner diameter.

The helheim s30mm looks like the best rdta for what I want.

But I want to see them all let me know!

Also what's the best website to get prebuilt clapton coils? I want to try fused, staggered, staple, and alien. I like it warm, but not burning hot, quick ramp time. I like to be at .1 to .15 ohms usually. (Dual coil parallel deck)

Anyway how does the replay feature work with stopping a dry hit?

Similar to temp control where you set a temp limit, in your 'replay' profile, using straight watts you'd activate replay when you've just had a great puff. The mod will replicate that puff and be able to detect/stop a dry puff.

I don't know that RDTA but my only issue with them is that you usually have to completely dismantle them to dry burn your coils.

I have the Helheim rdta and I can tell you it's a cracking rdta.
Lots of airflow choices and it wicks really well with the rods in the tank.
I got down to almost empty and it still wicked fine.

The only thing that could be a problem for some is that it's quite tall.
Other then that you won't regret getting it.

I have the 25mm one and the 30 and I run single coil in both. I just don't see the benefits of duel coil setups.

You might be amazed on how much longer a battery will last by just dropping the power by %20.

Well you can build one big coil that takes up the whole deck in place of dual coils. I like a very aggressive saturated warm hit and having dual coils gives you more surface area over a single. 5t

I need two batteries. my profile ps with nexmesh A1 strips in parallel mode puts out 43 amps at 130 watts. And a lot of dual clapton builds need 2 battery mods to work as they should. The profile 1 and 1.5 can do single battery but I need two batterys I don't ever want to not have enough amps. I like my claptons from .1 to .2 ohms dual. And they often need 120 watts or more to fire.

I also want something different. I've had lots of squonks never an rdta. Theres only two different dual battery sauonks that exist. One of them being my last mod the dovpo dual topside which broke. Great mod mine was just a lemon.


I want to experience the same hit every time on the rdta. And the way the coils and air flow are in rdtas they are supposed to have slightly better flavor for that reason. I'm done flavor chasing after the .07ohm profile ps nexmesh A1 strips in parallel I can't get anymore flavor. There's nothing with more than that setup. And I'm just interested in moreso the way the hit feels and I like the way claptons hit more than mesh. And claptons still have fantastic flavor, and on this rdta I want it should be great. I also am getting a mtl rdta.

There's been more than 2 dual battery squonk mods, especially 18650 ones.

21700 ones are more rarer though, but they're considerably more useful when it comes to complex builds with low resistances.

Only company I know that's doing one now is Boxer, but Steam Crave did make the Hadron with a YiHi chipset that was at a cheaper and more affordable price point.

I've decided to get the sxmini g class v2, apparently it's for better feedback overall than the DNA. And it reads down to .05ohms not sure if the DNA does that or not. Everyone's saying the sx750 chip set is more reliable than the DNA. Also it's just a beautiful mod. And will fit in the pocket better.
Still pondering the helheim s30
