The path to nonsmoking is not always straight. Sometimes it zigs and zags. Keep moving forward. Buying better gear was a good decision, at worst it will make you more "vested" in the effort. And the Provari is really nice and reliable (have 2 but recently moved to box mods, the Provari as backup now).

A smoking spouse certainly makes it tougher. BTDT. Hope to hear about your smoke free year this time next year!

Oh yea, one more suggestion. Try DIY. Making your own juice will teach you all the ins and outs of juice, and how simple it really is. And making extra strength juice for those craving emergencies is then cheap and simple. It will get you so invested in this "hobby" you won't have much time to think about smoking :). Hard to explain but I believe that has helped me. Plus makes it very easy (and cheap) to experiment and fine tune things like NIC level and PG/VG ratios.

You might also try an inexpensive dripper. Dripping is another way to get further "invested", especially if you combine it with DIY (they go hand in hand). A dual coil dripper on top of a DNA40 with the right juice and nic strength should kill any craving you might get.

I have a pack of smokes that sit in my cupboard too. It's my choice not to smoke and having them there is what has helped make my quit successful. Having different nic levels around help too for those stressful days. But once I dropped the nic to 0 I found that I don't get any cravings now, not even on stressful days. At least no cravings so far in months since going to 0nic. Also I don't want to reset my counter below because of one smoke.

Don't beat yourself up but try to remember why you quit smoking and started vaping in the first place, it may help you stay on track.
I still have 2 packs in the freezer and an empty pack in its spot on my desk. When I smoked my last and started vaping, I would find myself picking up the pack. Seeing it empty I would say, "oh yeah, you vape now". Over a few months, I picked it up less and less. I don't notice it anymore and only pick it up if I'm cleaning my desk. For some unknown reason, I feel good just having it there.

Welcome and don't be too hard on yourself. When you look at my join date vs my banner the info is a huge indicator of how many times I had major back slides in my vaping journey! What is important is that you strive to continue forward! I love your post and this thread is proof that you are not alone!

The DNA40 came today. I popped the Subtank Nano on and WOW! Now don't get me wrong. I LOVE my ProVari. I have been using one pretty much exclusively for almost a year before my set back. I now have 3. Who needs 3? Anyways. I was curious when sub ohm coils became available to those of us that don't build. Never tried it before. I had to go get some 70/30 3mg to handle it. This baby kicks! Since the PG is low I'm going to let my husband give it a shot. I may have found something that can bring him over.
