i06 2.5 ohm attys now show only 1.8-2.0 ohms

I use mostly IKV i06 attys and have noticed after a short while the ohms start dropping. I have seen ohms go up before on other attys as they age. Any one know why they would go down. Not causing much of a problem as I just adjust my votage or wattage down. Thanks for any imput I can get.

That's what happens to metal when it's heated and cooled continually. It starts to degrade. sometimes they get higher and sometimes lower. Stove and heater elements do the same thing except they're a lot heavier so it takes longer.

I've never noticed it, but then again I don't check them. Plunk it on my kicked devices @ 8W and forget about them

I got in a new batch of io6's last week after the store opened back up.

The 2.5 ohm atty measured 1.7 brand new. I guess I destined to never be able to get a 2.5.

• 2.6
• 2.3
• 2.7
• 2.7

Tested with a DMM

BTW My Penelope on the Vmax varies between 1.6 and 1.9 depending on the day
