Hi guys,

Still very much a newb but read so many reviews about IBTanked and decided I had to get one. It finally arrived and I've teamed it with an ego battery, and I am in love. For any other newbies that are getting frustrated with their start up kits, this has made a WORLD of difference for me. After not being able to taste anything, I'm finally getting awesome flavour and no more frustrations about things that aren't quite working/connecting/leaking etc.

Just a few questions, one of them probably stupid .. firstly, can anyone please suggest how often I should be changing the cartomizer? And this is the stupid question - the little rubber plug in the cartomizer ... I remove this right?

Yes, remove the the rubber plug. You will notice when it dies or stops drawing well. As long as you are getting good vape no need to worry. Glad you are enjoying it. They are very consistent and worry free once you get the hang of them.

Thanks Newportlocal! I should probably buy some cartomizers now to have on hand so I don't find myself in a bind. Absolutely, it's fantastic, and so good looking too haha

A slap yo momma works well too. I prefer it over the ibtanked drip tips for pushing the cartos. Also, I use plastic fork tines to block the carto hole when I soak the carto filling, and thermometer shake. Toothpicks will work too. Glad you are enjoying your vape.

Excellent choice in cartotanks! Glad to hear you're experiencing the best vape experience to date. I love my cartotanks by IBTanked....I've got one ready to be bought as soon as I click the button. I have 3 to date and want more. You'll definitely want more cartomizers. Did you get a standard or X-long? I usually buy 5 at a time for a months worth. Sometimes I use them all, sometimes I don't. Be aware that as with all things you can get a bad carto sometimes so if ya run into trouble and you know you've done everything possible you may just have to trash it and try another. This doesn't happen often but I felt compelled to tell ya that as a fellow cartotank user. Happy Vaping!

I bought a cartotank from IBTanked, it looks amazing, I just don't seem to get great flavor out of it. I've put the same juice in the cartotank and my clearomizer and the flavor just seems a lot more muted in the carto. Is this typical for cartos or did I possibly just get a dud one?

If youre not getting good flavor, its because of the cartomizer. Cartomizers are very hit or miss. The best Ive found are from Ikenvape. The Smoks from IBTanked are good but Ikenvapes are better.

Love IBtanked or any carto tank for that matter. I agree that they provide the most frustration free experience. I vape unflavored juice, so I get a lot more mileage out of any carto or coil...but I can typically run 40 mil or so until I start thinking about swapping the carto. I find I get much better performance (vapor and flavor) out of a single coil 2 ohm carto. The dual coils just suck IMHO. The IBtanked refill tool/drip tip, works perfectly well for refilling, but there are several different tools out there.

I usually can get a 30 ml bottle through mine before I change it out. Also save those white plugs cause when you get more IBtanks....and you will....you can store them by putting the white cap back in it and putting it in a pill bottle with the lid on.

Before I discovered Kayfuns I had like 6 IBtanks and each one had a dedicated flavor and this is how I stored them with the bottle of juice on top. I do the same thing with my Kayfuns.
