i have a really short and stubby hafling tank
Then just line up the tops of the cartos as close as you can and push. Just be careful and try to keep it straight. Try to avoid damaging your o-rings to your best ability.

Worst case scenario you dump out what's in the halfling. At least it doesn't hold much juice to lose.

Somebody should make a double bottom 510 drip tip just for these occasions. Stick one side into the carto on the tank stick the new carto onto the other side. Then you could just push straight through.

Somebody needs to pitch that to cherry vapes, fat daddy vapes or ocd of ibtanked.

ok, i replaced the old cart with a new one and primed properly this time. there's no burnt taste, but it does feel kinda harsh on the throat... is this normal?

also, is priming the cart from the top by saturating the cart a better method compare to the method described by the ibtanked? (ibtanked says to open the tank lid and close it to let air in to force the liquid into the cart... but this could possibly force in more liquid and end up flooding the cart right?

i dropped maybe 15-25 drops manually, tried to use the toothpick, but the white lint in the cartomizer is pretty rigid and sticks to the wall pretty tight so i was afraid to stick to toothpick with too much force.

lastly, it seems my carto dries out pretty quickly, i thought i only have to prime the carton once, and as i use the e-cig it will just gradually bring in more liquid into the cartomizer through the 2 holes....otherwise what's the point of the tank+liquid? :\

Just a couple of pointer's for you if I may :)

When you first load a new carto, take a few pulls on it without firing the battery.

Then for your first couple of draws just do a very short fire.

If you flood your carto filling it just take a Q-tip or the corner of a paper towel and gently dab it out.

It's okay to finish off with a few drops on top after priming if you wish.

As to the "harshness", not sure ... kind of depends on your juice I suppose; it does take a bit for a new carto to get to that "sweet" spot but it will come :)

    Hope that helps

do you only have to prime the carto once?
'cuz my carto dries out pretty quickly.. i'm not even sure if the liquid in the tank are being used by the carto at all :(

and i'm so afraid of burning the carto again, so i just end up dropping liquids on top of my carto again and again :\ but that kind of defeats the purpose of having a tank.

    * currently i'm using the sweet tobacco flavor juice from provape, i kind of wished i used a fruity flavor instead, 'cuz it's hard to tell if the flavor i'm tasting is right or if some of the flavor is coming from a semi-dry cartomizer T_T

You should only need to prime your carto once, you could have a bad carto
Also what's the ratio of your juice? If it's high VG you might need a slotted carto instead.

And did you leave a little room in the top of the tank? For some reason they work better if they have a little breathing room.

oh no, i didn't drop liquids on top of the carto :( no wonder i got a burnt taste at first..... i need to keep dropping liquids to the top of the carto ? i thought these new e-cigs with the tank make it so you dont need to do that anymore...

You only have to do that to prime it. Once it gets going it great. And you wont have to bother with it again until the carto needs replacing if you do it right.

Not sure if I read you right. if you are following the Baditude method, the toothpick goes in the middle where the air flows.

You don't need to be timid about placing the needle tip between the inside of the wall of the carto and the batting.

Squeeze in your juice until it looks a little wet, then flick it like a thermometer.

Repeat until a little juice starts to come out of the punch holes...remove the toothpick from the center hole, et viola! you have finished priming!
