I'm moving up to an APV and decided to go with this setup after doing some research on the forum. I have a couple of questions for the veteran vaping crowd. With some help from a forum member, I've decided to get the 22 mm tank in standard size and am going to use the boge pre punched cartos in standard and low resistance. Wanted to try the ikenvape but nothing is in stock. Want to use a flangeless catro so I can have the smallest gape between the mod and tank. My question is can you reuse the carto's with different juices by washing them out or is each carto only good for one juice? I have an evod and mini protank now and just soak them in alcohol to clean them out and try different juices. I'm at the point where I've tried a bunch of juices and am starting to find my preference. So far I like the heathers hevenly t, N.L. bounty hunt bounty hunter, N.L. gold and Allien Gorilla juice. Also, what exactly is this thinghy for from Ibtanked? Is there any good videos out there that show you how to set up, prime, clean and use the ibtanked set up? Any other advice would be appreciated as I'd like to order the Ibtanked this weekend and want to get everything I need. So far the best place to by the boge cartos looks like myvapor store. Last question, are you able to store used cartos that aren't spent and use them again later? Figured I'd get sick of the same juice after a couple of days and want to try something else. I really don't want to buy a bunch of tanks from ibtanked as they aren't cheap. I do have an evod, mini protank 2 and a couple of clearos I could put on the zmax, although it would look funny. Thanks!

You can wash out and reuse cartos for different flavors but it takes a lot of time and work. Most people use one carto for one flavor only and toss them out when the taste starts to suffer. This varies with everyone but I run about 18ml of juice through a carto before I notice the taste falling off. Then I replace it.

Boge is a good choice for mostly PG juice. I use Smok for mostly VG juice.

I have a couple of Thingies from IBTanked but have never used them for anything except storing tank parts. Someone is sure to explain the other purpose. I like the long drip tip that IBTanked provides. Like the Slap Yo' Mama tool this is put onto the carto along with a little juice for lubrication. It makes installling a new carto in the tank easy.

There are a lot of ways to prime a carto, making sure it is fully saturated before installing into the tank. I punch my cartos, cover the holes with a little Scotch tape and fill the carto to full capacity with a syringe. Then I let it sit for ten minutes to soak, gently blow out the excess onto a paper towel and install into the carto tank.

Videos are a big help with priming cartos and there are many different ways that work well.

Yes, cartos can store for quite a while between use. I'm comfortable with a couple of weeks before I start to worry about microbe growth.

It's not uncommon for carto tank users to have several tanks dedicated to several favorite flavors.

Using the Thingy to prime your carto is called Fiddling your Thingy. It's really easy to do. Take your unprimed carto and put it in the tank. Fill the tank. Stick it in the Thingy and screw the cap on and off (you'll see air bubbles coming out of the carto as you do it). Do this until a drop comes out of the air hole of the carto. Refill the tank, drop a some drops down the drip tip end (optional) and you're primed and ready to go.

That's the only way I've ever primed a carto and can't imagine it being any easier.
