You run into that with a few atty's. Does it show an ohms reading or 9.9? If it shows 9.9 the vamo is not making a connection probably on the center pin. Try cleaning the center pin with an eraser or a alcohol moistened qtip. May be a bad carto it happens. Ohm it out if you have a meter. Try another carto. or atty.

Maybe I'll try a different carto. The unit isn't dirty. One of the Vamos I tried it on was brand new.

You really do not want it to sit flush... you will not get any air that way...

And as the previous poster said, what ohm reading do you get? if it is 9.9 than it is not making contact with the center pin.. you will need to raise it with a very small flat head screwdriver..

Probably a stupid question, but on the carto or the Vamo?

They are talking about the connector pin on the Vamo's top. Some juice delivery device's connector can be longer than standard and push the battery device's connector pin into the mod. Should this be the case with yours, the connector pin generally can be "teased" or pryed up higher to make a better electrical connection.

Before making the above adjustment to your Vamo, take just a single carto (without the tank attached) and see if you can get it to work. Just pre-fill the carto as you normally would; it won't leak juice for the short time that you will be testing it. If the carto then works on the Vamo, you can always use it in your tank.

Just a FYI, never over-tighten a juice delivery device on your mod. Just snug should be adequate.

I just gifted a IBT and a couple of IKV platinums to one of my soldiers to use on his vamo, got tired of listening to him whine about his vivis being crap. We slotted the top cap of his vamo with a dremmel, (can get the tank damn near flush)That thing is a vape bomb now. Check your carto like Baditude said. I have had horrible luck with flanged cartos, lots of duds, mabee it's like a lot of vape gear, one company churning them out for everyone else to re-brand as theirs and their QC sucks, I don't know. I stick to single coil cartos now.

I have not been a fan of cartos in the past but a friend of mine brought a couple of these over and man they sure do give you a great tasting vape. :)
