My daughter began vaping this summer, and I've been vaping for a year and a half. I had used cartotanks almost exclusively prior to this, but I felt as a new vapor my daughter would have an easier transition into vaping using the simpler clearomizers than a cartotank, which have a slight learning curve involved. My daughter uses a mechanical AltSmoke BB mod and I use a Provari.
We tried the latest versions of most of the current clearomizers on the market:
Vision Vivi Nova (top coil)
Innokin iClear 16 & 30 (dual top coil)
Kangertech Evod (bottom coil)
Kangertech Protank 1 & 2 (bottom coil)
The
Evod and
iClear 16 were both nice performers but they both have eGo threading, and we both use a 510 battery device so we found using an adaptor to be a hinderence (the small adaptors are easy to lose). The
Protank looks spectacular with shiny stainless steel and pyrex, but it is heavier and not quite the performer that the iClear 30 is. I still use a Protank 1 in my collection, and my daughter is using the Protank 2. Neither of us particularly cared for the
Vivi Nova; it didn't stand out in any particular way other than it being an easy top fill tank.
Our combined conclusion was we prefered the
iClear 30 over the others. She prefered the easier top fill and the larger juice capacity. I found it's flavor and vapor production to be the closest comparison to my cartotanks. The dual coils produce more vapor than the single coil clearos comparatively, and the 16 tiny wicks supply enough juice to the coil heads to prevent any dry or burnt hits. We both liked the Knucklehead-like mouthpiece which can be adjusted at an angle for more comfortable vaping. If this were made of pyrex, it would be the perfect clearomizer.
So the clear winner for us was the Innokin iClear 30.
To the OP, this tank

To my buddy Rocketpunk, yes what you said about Cinnamon & Citrus Flavors is completely correct. To read more about this reaction to certain flavors on polycarbonate tanks, read this blog I wrote:
