OK, I've been vaping for a couple of months, mostly on EVODs. I upgraded from the knock-off ego batteries to an MVP2, and I kept on using the EVODs. All was right with the world.

I decided to give the iClear 30 that came with the MVP a whirl. Ugh. Less than half the vapor production of the EVOD with the same juice (Good Life High Five, high VG). No flavor (OK, a little flavor). Hardest draw of anything I've tried.

Been going through the forums, and I see LOTS of folks who love the iClear. I've fiddled with it, changed wattage, no better. I don't get it.

Is there something I'm missing?

Iclear 30 is going to have a tighter draw than the EVOD. Some folks have drilled out the air holes on them to loosen it up. I haven't done that, but I don't mind it so much, YMMV. As for the lack of flavor, try letting it sit overnight and then vape it. I found it to be kinda muted until I was into the second tank and the wicks got well saturated.

If you want a better Iclear clearo, get yourself a 30s, it is WAY better than the regular 30 for many reasons, a lighter draw, better flavor, and you can replace the drip tip with something else if you don't like the swivel one.
