I just got my MVP with the iclear30 tank, I already have the iclear30s and love it.. I am trying very hard to like the 30 with all of its many wicks but right out of the box all it has done is flood and leak. I know I haven't gotten any juice in the middle thingy because I have filled it with a bottle with the needle tip. I have to take it off the battery blow it out and clean the battery top. I didn't fill it all the way up and have been very careful it is not knocked over or tilted. What am I doing wrong ? I am a newbie and so wanted this tank to work and all I am doing is wasting juice....... Oh yea it sizzles and cracks a lot PLEASE HELP

Oh man the iclear 30's can be a total pain. I know you said you are not filling it up all the way, but I found that the 2.1 ml mark is about as high as you want to go. Another thing that can cause this is drawing too hard. When you draw too hard the coils cant keep up and it tends to flood. Also, make sure the rubber piece that cover the coils has not tilted off center. If it has remove the drip tip and readjust. Hopefully this will help, but sometimes the iclears leak no matter what you do. Look into picking up either a kanger aerotank or an aspire nautilus for better vaping. Good luck!

Welcome to ECF Miller...

I don't believe you're doing anything wrong... or at least nothing in your post indicates it. Although I've not personally used them in a good long time, my wife and daughter still do on occasion. Normally the iClear 30 is a reliable and tasty vape on any APV at around 9-11 watts.

A few things... sizzling is normal, that's the juice being vaporized. The leaking and gurgling... well, that's something else. There's no way of knowing how or what you've possibly done to cause this.

Like most tank atomizers, the iClear operates on the principals of pressure differential. Read the article at the end of the hyperlink... perhaps you can see your problem within my references.

As the tank is plastic, you can't use "tank cracker" type corrosive juices. This is probably the greatest downfall of the iClear line... and one that Innokin is moving away from, as indicated with the introduction of the X.I glassomizer line of atomizers.

Good luck...

I never found any love for the iClear 30 that came with my MVP. I finally passed it along to someone here who wanted it. My favorite tanks on my MVP are the Smok Tech Pyrex Aro. They are hassle free for me, never leak or gurgle, and hold a good amount of juice. They are also inexpensive, as are the replacement coils. I get great flavor and vapor with them. Who could ask for anything more? Here is a link, if you want to check them out:

The iclear30 is a topcoil, so as long as you keep it upright and don't fill it up to the coil area, it can't leak through the coil.

If it still leaks when upright, then there has to be a problem on one of those connections below the coil. Maybe the coil assembly not screwed snugly into the base.
