I just got two in the mail. One of them I am absolutely unable to unscrew the base - any ideas? On the other one I tried to use the adaptor I have for the vv Triton battery, but while it all goes together the Iclear won't fire. If anyone has any ideas how to fix these two problems I'd love to hear them!

Stick a dental pick or something pointy into the bottom pin and gently rock it out until it's just past the threads. No further... Make sure it's squared up and it should fire.

mmkay and which clearomizer on the market is better in your opinion? and please don't say the protank series..

Sadly the evod seems to be the best thing I have tried to date (I know same coil as the PT but I believe it's a pressurization thing because of the inside volume). The iSmoka is amazing when it works right and only after pulling the top 2 wicks. Otherwise a good Carto tank with a 1.7ohm Carto is my never fail back up (and I always punch my own)

Can't agree more on the Evod. . I build my own cotton single 1.7ohm micro-coil using 30awg with 7 wraps...the vapour and flavour is like Mount Olympus:
MountOlympus.jpg

When I transfer the same Evod coil to my Protank 2, the performance is seems to drop a little in terms of flavour/vapour. The only reason I can think of is the vaccuum/pressure effect occurring within the slimmer tank is creating this phenomenon, which seems strange from a physics perspective.

Same results occurs in the mini protank as well as experienced by many users.

For the interim, there's still no real breakthrough yet in flavour/vapour and ease of use in building your own single coil easily with all kinds of variations compared to the frustrations of a dual and vertical coil, LOL.

Good to hear, I was wondering why the same coil setup I built for the EVOD doesn't carry taste in the Protank2. Was also surprised that the cotton/microcoil I built for the Protank2 that I thought couldn't get any better, actually did get better when I put it into the EVOD...

I picked this up with a couple spare coils and at first I absolutely loved it and everything tasted great but after about 2 weeks of owning it now I'm not sure why nothing really tastes good on it. All my juices tasting burnt or having no taste at all. Not really sure if it's my coils or not, really hard to take apart, I haven't been able to so I'm not exactly sure the best way to take care of the dual coils and the best way to clean them but I'm going back to my protank 2 mini I've tried the same e-liquids on both and the PT2 mini definitely has the better taste and better hit.

If you've used it two weeks without cleaning it that has to be the problem. It's easy to clean- unscrew the top and bottom and just wash under warm water. I dump mine in vodka or dental cleaner for a bit. Then rinse. I don't have any tanks that will go two weeks without cleaning! And you probably need to pop the new coil in too - just pull the other one gently out of the base and replace.,

Just running a test this morning... I pulled an IClear 30B off my MVP 2.0 that I'd
been using for Coumiran Pipe E-liquid off and on for the past 7 days...

I completely took the tank apart and under hot water wash it all... including
the bottom dual coils... drying everything afterwards....

The dual coils head... I pulled the little plug from... also known as the contact pin... out the bottom...
and carefully... I blew threw the tiny hole (channel) in order to get any and all water out...
And... as for the wicks... I wrapped a tissue around the head and made sure they were dried...

Placing that little plug back in... and screwing the head back into the base...
I then re-assembled the tank and filled it with an E-Liquid called... CARMEL Coffee...

5 minutes later... I vaped that IClear 30B and E-juice on my MVP 2.0...
And the FLAVOR WAS and IS so WONDERFUL... that I had thoughts of opening the
clearomizer... and spreading that darn E-JUICE... on WAFFLES!!!!

Now that Carmel Coffee is a 65% VG 35% PG from MTBAKER...

I didn't have to move my voltage past 3.3 nor wattage past 6.0 go figure!

This while the head is 2.1 ohm and now am setting the wattage at 9.0 for my sweet spot and it is GREAT!

If you have an E-Liquid you like... then with the IClear 30B... you're really going to enjoy it!

Not without cleaning, I use water to clean it but unlike the Kanger coils in which you can take the top off and dry burn to get the extra gunk off, these coils are not as easy (or, I'm not sure if it's even possible) to do that, and that's what I was referring to. I love how you can take it apart to clean it, but as far as the coils go I'm not 100% sure on the best way to clean those. I'm just using water, so I'm not sure if there's a better way or not.

I'm excited to try my 30b when it arrives. Happily, I just "stumbled" into this tank.

After a year of using ego batteries and Kanger T3, MT3 and ProTanks....I ordered and received a bronze/green Kmax....but I had to use a different vendor for the 18650's and charger cause my usual was out of them....and just by chance, as I was reviewing my cart before checkout, a little ad for the iClear30b popped up.....and I thought it looked cool and was only $14....what the heck it'll look cool on my Kmax. So I ordered a green one and 10 coils.....now, I never do that sort of thing....impulse buy with no research....but I'd heard of Innokin....

Now, while I'm waiting....it shipped Saturday and I already received the Kmax....I started reading about the 30b....dual coil...new product... LOL....cool!

The second one that was DOA is in the mail to me. The one I have is ok. I had to change the coil the first day because it leaked badly. I still can't refill it without it leaking though. It's very heavy and not even glass. Flavor is quite good, but I won't buy another one. It reminds me why I generally prefer cartotanks!

I have to say the iclear30b is the best BCC i've used to date.

i tried the protank 3 and i hate it with a passion. all my protanks leak like crazy and get dryhits (I also think the heads are terribly made and are really inconsistent)

day 3 and no leaking issues with 30b and it hits amazing.. had it up to 11 watts and dry hits..

i have to say the iclear30s is also really great.. innokin seems to finally have gotten the clearos right!

heads are really expensive but it's expected with a new product.. I paid like 12$ for a 5pack for the 30b's but oh well.. least i wont need to change it out like the protanks every 3 days

Glad to hear!

Personally, I LOVED the original Kanger Pro tank.....but the PT2 was TERRIBLE IMO. I won't waste any more money on that line, so I won't even bother with the Protank3 after trying the PT2.

I would consider buying the upgraded Protank1, if it weren't for all the other newer options that are looking nice.

Currently I'm enjoying my 2 IBTanked carto tanks, along with the iClear30 that came with my MVP2. Looks like I'm gonna try the iclear30b :D

i have both iclear 16b, and iclear 30b. using the same juice, on both, same ohms, same resistance,, i've noticed an underlying "sweet" and "chemically" flavor on the 30b heads, whereas the 16b (along with every other carto/clearo etc does not have this additional taste). I ruled out it being one head in particular for the 30b by putting in a new head. same taste. i also thoroughly washed and dried all the parts (drip tip, plastic, endcaps etc). anyone that has a 30b, or both 30b and 16b for comparison notice anything like this? the taste is not entirely offensive, but does taste synthetic and unique to the 30b. thanks in advance! ;)

After great success from the iclear30 and reading review on the B I thought this would be the best.
However..
I am getting the same thing, so disappointed, been waiting for 3 weeks for it to arrive from the US. Can anyone that's fixed it please describe in detail maybe with pics on how you made it work.

I've tried cleaning everything but the heads, in hot water and replaced the head that it came with. Still no flavor and tastes chemically

Same issue here. Very airy draw, no taste. Cannot tell the difference between menthol and strawberry juices. Not noticed any chemical taste, just no taste at all. Have not tried cleaning or replacing the head, but for the time being I am back on Vivi Novas despite burnt tastes on 1/2 tanks.

I bought 3 of them thinking this is going to be the perfect clearo, just like I did with the protank 2 after all the great reviews. This is another a big let down. I'm going to clean and try the second one when this 30s head is done, hopefully it's better.

One thing that is good though, The tanks are swappable with the 30 + I think 30s, didn't try the S yet as i was frustrated and wanted a vape, but I think it should work for the s too as they all look the same.

You should try the 30 or 30s, they have been great for me

I was a die hard innokin iclear series fan but never got around to purchasing the 30B as my vape journey took a sharp detour with RBA's. However, I was able to sample one today fired off a coolfire1 mod. (Great mod BTW, if you are on fence for one of these, I highly recommend it!)

Few thoughts:

-The 30b definitely has a tighter draw than the 30s. Has the same, maybe slightly easier draw than the original iclear30.
-Vapor production to me was no different than the 30s, but to be fair, I used to only use 100% VG in all my iclear tanks. The juice I was using in my friends 30b was a 70VG/30PG blend.
-For flavor, I thought it was OK, nothing spectacular, but I also didn't taste any burnt notes or strange aftertastes either.

All in all, its a good tank, definitely recommend this over the Protank style if you have no interest in rebuilding, but personally, I still prefer the 30S & 16.

How do you guys get this tank to stop leaking? I've emptied mine twice, made sure everything was tight, but it leaks all over everything. I'm using it on the Coolfire I it came with. Draw is extremely tight, and hardly any vapor. I can't change the heads because they didn't have spares where I bought it.

I would def. try another head. I rebuilt mine and nearly had a nervous breakdown.....and it still leaks!!!!!!!!!!!! Found a good deal on eBay for 9.99/5 heads with free shipping.
5 x Coil Head Innokin iClear 30B ICLEAR30B Dual Coil Tank Clearomize

Waiting for their arrival as we speak!!!
