I'm tired of pulling these pins!!

On the iClear 30B I have to pull the pin down, on the MVP's I have to pull the pin up, in order to make any connections. Anyone else??

Found that problem with the Iclear 30 that came with my MVP. That and other issues are the reason it sits on a table empty

I find that I have to tease the pin up on my MVP at least once a week. Mine is the first version MVP.

This is one of the few things that I don't like about the MVP. It has enough positive features that far outweigh cons of this device. The only mod I like better are my Provari's.

Someone got the circuit board spacers from madvapes and said the work for making the connection by placing one or more in the connector on the MVP. YMMV

I quit using the iClears, I don't seem to have as many problems with the pin. Not saying it doesn't happen, just not as often.

I've had a few troubles with certain Aspire tanks not working on my MVP's. Some are ok, some are not. I juggle back and forth. Ok this one works on the flower but not the skull. Also had the same issue with aspire and one of my spinners. I love their tanks so I won't switch but it's a pita.

I found that some mods (aerotanks in particular) have a very long post that pushed down the pin on the MVP and compresses the insulator. The best trick I found was adjust the beauty ring on the MVP when connecting any tank/rba/etc to where it has just the slightest resistance going in. It takes a couple tries, but haven't had to pry the pin in the last couple weeks doing that. iClear30b still requires full down to connect, but at least it works every time.
