I received my MVP2 that came with an iclear 30 on Friday. One thing I have noticed is the draw on it is REALLY hard. Like I have to basically suck on it as hard as I can to get a decent draw on it. I don't think it has anything to do with the beauty ring because I have also tried it without the beauty ring and it really makes no difference. I am getting pretty frustrated with this thing, and I was really excited about it. I am running it between 4 and 4.2v. After smoking for 13-14 years my lung capacity isn't exactly the best either. This is really disappointing because I watched several videos on this and haven't heard many bad things about it at all and I see people blowing huge clouds with them and it's not working that well for me at all. Does anyone have any suggestions, or is this just the nature of the beast? I'm really hoping there's something simple that I am missing here. The MVP reads the ohms on it as 2.0, if that matters. Should I try to find another coil for it and see if that makes a difference? At this point I am willing to try pretty much anything.
I've also been having issues with my ismoka bcc mega. I use 50/50 juice so I usually have to remove a few wicks from the coils in order to prevent dry hits. I went to put a new coil in it today and the dry hits would not go away and I ended up having to remove so many wicks that it started flooding. So I put a used coil I had soaking in some vodka in it and if I run it much higher than 3.6v (coil measures 1.9ohm) then I get a really harsh burning taste from it. I thought the general rule of thumb was to take the ohm rating and add 2 volts and start from there. Well I am not even able to run it at 3.9 without getting nasty hits. These are the only 2 toppers I have besides an evod which I think has a cheap crappy coil because even at 4.2v it doesn't put out much vapor at all compared to when I first bought it and was running it with a standard regulated ego battery. The coil is fairly new on the evod and has only had maybe 1 tank run through it total. So basically I am having issues with all 3 of my toppers and am getting very frustrated and am not even able to enjoy the new MVP that I have been looking forward to getting for a long time. Any ideas or suggestions will be really appreciated here guys. I've been off the analogs for 8 weeks now and really don't want to end up giving in. Thanks for reading!

May be out of left field, but it seems the two common elements to all of this are the juice and the battery. Take your old eGo out and see if you are still having the same difficulties.

I just received a MVP 2.0 and iClear 30. The draw on the iClear 30 seems a little tighter than my ProTank 3. The iClear is very similar to the draw on my ProTank 2 Minis. I personally don't care for how airy the vapes on the ProTank 3 are, slight mod might be necessary. I'm getting pretty nice clouds on all the above.

Don't worry about the YouTube cats. Who knows what they are vaping, how many theatrics are involved, are they just mouth vapes possibly, and what slight mods they did before recording...

Seems a little off my friend. I would just try process of elimination. As for the iClear, take it apart and make sure everything is assembled properly, no air holes are blocked, etc. Good luck to you.

I dry burned a few of my bcc mega coils today and have them sitting. The iclear30 seems to be working a little better today. I think I am getting more used to it. Question though. How many puffs do you guys usually get with a full charge on the MVP? A friend of mine just got his the same day I did and he seems to be getting ridiculous life out of it, more than I am it seems. He's running it at like 4.4v too. He was at 500 puffs and still at 3.9v. Maybe he's taking shorter drags than I do, or he's clicking the button a couple times per drag? I'm not complaining about the battery life of mine, just making sure it's getting what it should be. I have a little bit of ocd when it comes to certain things. Plus it seems like I've always got the worst luck in the world when it comes to buying things lol.

I'm using an MVP 2 also. I have found that using a 510 -> eGo adapter allows you to adjust airflow a small bit.

Tighten the adapter down fairly hard but don't crank it. Screw in/on your 510/eGo clearo until you feel connection. Then, unscrew a tiny bit. You should still make a connection and have a bit more airflow. Tell me if it works for you, I think my MVP 2 is unique in terms of how far down my connector pin thingy is, since I can't even make a connection with eGo threaded stuff without an adapter, but 101vape said this is par for the course for the MVP 2. I just don't know if I believe 101vape since thousands of people here have the MVP 2 and I haven't heard about the connection issues from anyone but myself haha.
