As subject states, Iclear 30B with 1.8 ohm coil wont fire when I put it on my astro mod the coil is still good because it will still fire on my vision spinner VV on all settings. I tried to do a bit of research quickly but couldn't find anything that would suggest why.The astro mod has a 3.7 V 18650 2100/mah battery in it. Not sure if that makes a difference or not. Could someone shine some light on this for me?

The pin is the connection from the top of the mod - connects the battery to the tank. If it's not making a connection you are not vaping. Might need to be adjusted to make contact.

Hopefully that works - I've had similar issues with an iClear on two of my mods. Works on one, not the other. Check the middle pin. You should be able to raise it and it will hopefully hit the tanks base, and vape on :)

Would be my 1st port of call. A good coil not firing is usually no power reaching the coil - the pin is the thing that makes that connection.

Not familiar with your device though, so if and how you adjust it would be beyond me - should be doable though.

Some tanks might push the pin down - I had an airflow controller that nearly ruined a APV - screwed a protank on, no contact, a iClear made contact no problem. Depends on the tank I guess. I've generally got a flat head screwdriver on hand for instances where the previous tank has pushed the pin down, and the new tank can't make contact.

It's annoying :glare:

Your mod has a adjustable center pin (or floating as the description says... ) take a flat head and slowly give it a turn - The center pin is in the hole you iclear screws into... this is just a little to low, each mod and attaching device is different, thats why your has a floating pin to help be a little more compatible.

Good luck!

unscrew the top most section off your mod there should be a brass silver or stainless pin that has a slot for a screwdriver, Turn it clockwise that should run it out further, if you don't have that slotted pin you have a spring loaded pin, look down into the hole your atomizer screws into, see the brass center pin make sure its it's springy when pressed on. if it isn't it may be gunked up with juice in there. let me know I can tell you how to get it out to clean it up

Thanks, fortunately I was in the process of figuring this out as I started pulling the tubes apart looking for a screw to adjust under the actual center post that makes contact with the bottom of the tank. It seems like you just have to unscrew the positive side "cap" that the tank is attached to, attach the tank and (the post doesnt seem to be threaded, I tried to screw it to adjust for a minute before realizing it wasnt budging at all) with your thumb lighty push on the post until it catches the bottom of the tank. Seems to have hit the spot and worked great.
