I considered putting a Kick in my mechanical Silver Bullet. However, I change flavors a few times a day. Each flavor has its own "sweet spot" (in voltage) that best presents its fullest flavor. Changing the wattage (voltage) on a Kick requires adjusting a screw on the Kick with a cross-thread screwdriver, meaning the mechanical mod must be disassembled each time you make an adjustment. PITA (pain in the azz).

With a regulated mod you need only push a button to change voltage/wattage. Convenience. In addition, a regulated mod has a built-in voltage meter and built-in ohm meter. Convenience.

In my opinion, if you are going to Kick a mechanical mod, why not just use a regulated mod in the first place?

You might look at a "Crown". It is either watts or voltage and is adjusted w/o dis-assembly.

I agree. Now but I have my pretty mechanical mod I've only used it a couple of times because I prefer having the convenience of a regulated mod and being able to easily make my adjustments... I sure hope I find a way that I like using that mechanical mod, or a waste of a good hunk of money on all the stuff that I bought to go with it....

If you're not seeing the results you want, then a kick might be the answer. I've never used a magneto but my stingray has ample airflow so long as the air holes are near the 510.
I was wondering if your carto tank sits flush on your Stingray. I am using a IBTank on mine. I bought some non-flanged Boges to use with it, but my first one was really bad (little vapor, and bad flavor) so I switched back to the Smok flanged SR cartos I had been using. This leaves a bit of a gap and I'm afraid the flange will scratch up the top cap. I would buy some iKenVape cartos but they are always out of stock. I guess I could find some non-punched Smoks without a flange and punch them myself. Any other options?
