So i've had an iClear30s for about a couple of months now, but lately i've noticed just how damned fast it's burning through coils. Usually a bit of flavour degredation doesn't bother me so i'll use a coil till it's producing hardly any vapour before i throw it, but i've gone through about 3 coils in the past week, what the hell's going on? I vape at about 8w, my 30s doesn't get hot when i'm using it but yet i'm blowing through coils like there's no tomorrow?

I've stuck a fresh coil in there just now but i've thrown my GBC on my Zmax because it's getting pretty damned expensive keeping a 30s alive!

I have only had to replace one coil in the 2-3 weeks since I got my first 30s. And I'm using 4 of them on different set ups. Only 2 heavily though. I'm not much help, since I don't do watts. But I do keep my 2.1 coils at 3.5-3.8 volts on my setups. I've been using a chart that came with my hypertank, and have been burning up a lot fewer coils in general...lol. Except Kanger, I swear I look at a protank sideways and it becomes broken and contrary.

I've had the same issue i'm on my 3rd one that i just put in last week when i started brewing my own blends so i had uninfluenced taste issues and i'm already getting the burnt taste as well. i love the tank the taste is great i like the look (except the gap it leaves on my itaste VV ) but im seriously considering finding a new tank or going back to my iclear16 tanks i atleast didnt get this horrid burnt taste so frequently. very disappointing looked up everything i could find about this tank when i bought it and couldnt find many bad reviews and now you can't go to any type of forum without a discussion about it.

I have a 30s that is on 4 weeks now, with well over 40ml of juice through it. Still going strong. My other 2 aren't quite as old, but I haven't had to replace a coil yet on those either. I am vaping light fruity juices through them, I use my PT2's for dark sweet juices because I can re build the coils. I am vaping the 30s's at 9 watts pretty much all the time.

I get the bad burnt taste on my 30s also I have found a temp fix where I drop a few drops of juice down the middle right in top of the coils and the. The burnt taste goes away for awhile. I was using the iclear 30 before this and I never had that problem, I might just go back to those.
