If you want tons of vapor, I would go with the v3.1. With that, you couldmgo 3.7v or step up to 6v. Its like opeing up pandoras box though. I did fine with 3.7v for two months. Always felt i was missing something but couldnt put my finger on it. I tried 5v on a passthrough and now, I've sold off all my 3.7 stuff and had to replace it all with 6v. The flavor and throat hit on 6v is the closest I've had that resembles real tobacco smoke.

I've been using an ego style battery for awhile now, and I feel like I want something similar to the puresmoker icon or prodigy, but I really can't decide. Has anyone used them both? I like TONS of vapor, and use BWB and AVE almost exclusively. Any help would be appreciated.

Yep different batteries for 6 volts. High voltage attys for 6 volts too. I vaped SR attys at 6 volts but I've wrecked a few. I got the prodigy first too. But I like 3.7 volts better so I got the Icon for a more compact PV. With a LR 306 atty I get about the same vapor. Hey maybe you will like 6 volts better. Who knows?

I have both. I was so impressed with the Icon I picked up a prodigy from the for sale forum. The P3 with the soft spring is amazing to me. It is literally effortless.
To switch between 3 and 6 volts is just a matter of adjusting the 2 piece delrin switch(it changes the throw of the contact screw).
I made a little stand so I don't have to worry about it rolling around or cooking a carto.
