ICR/IMR eVic

The joyetech eVic that I bought my wife shipped with a Samsung ICR18650-26F.

It's new and the battery hasn't been broken in yet, but she is wanting a stronger battery if possible

When I look at the BandMs they are listing IMRs and not ICRs. I've read a ton on the interweb today trying to understand the differences and whether it would be safe/smart to install a IMR into her eVic.

Help please.

An IMR/hybrid battery is definitely the way to go, ICRs vent violently if they fail. The Panasonic ncr18650pf (2900 mAh) is a good choice, as is the LG he2 and the Samsung 25r.
