I have researched a lot and I have decided I want to not use Samsung 18650 ICR batteries in my APV anymore. I use an eleaf Ijust,(1.8ohm never go higher than 4.4 volts) I just have a few questions. I know the amps I pull out of this battery is well under the limit and it shouldn't fail BUT. From what I gather, in the event of battery failure an IMR venting is a lot more tame than an ICR. My only question IS, I only have about $28 for a new battery and charger, at the moment, want to get a better charger than what i'm using or just charge threw the pass through usb port. So I know I can afford 1 charger that charges 1 battery and 1 nice battery for now. My Samsung battery lasts a VERY long time, I can almost squeeze 38 hours out of it. I typically charge it after 12-24 hours of use. With a high drain battery that's 2,200-25,000 mah. That's not very far off from my 2600MAH ICR, since i'm only going to be pulling about 2.3 amps max out of the battery will the battery life be almost as good or a lot shorter? From crappy vendors there saying the ICR's will last 36 hours and an IMR high drain will only last about 6-12 hours in a 6 volt device. Am I really looking at that much vape time lost from 100-200 mah and a different battery chemistry in a pretty low power device? If that's the case i'm going to just pull my pennies together and wait a few days until I can afford a new charger and 2 nice IMR batteries from a reputable vendor so I don't have to pay for shipping two different times. I know it's a lot of questions, and I've done many hours of research the past week or two just curious because most of the numbers for IMR life come from people using Mech's at like 50 watts, when i'm only going to be using like 11.5. So I don't know why this certain vendor is stating that much performance loss in battery life. Most likely going to buy the Purple EFest 2500Mah, as for the charger still looking for reviews on them. THANKS!
