icr18350 Direct power to Connector / atty?

I have a DSE 601 that is dead. I have two left over batteries.. Thinking about tubing the battery and putting a spare ego top to it. Will it work if i just put it to it and put on a switch or do i need some sort of board for it.

No need of any board, if you're just using a single battery.
