Had an idea earlier for cartomizers. Had some issues with a new juice flooding out in my Smoktech single coil pre-punched carto with 2 holes.

For those that arent familiar with these they are used in carto tanks and you can get them laser drilled with 1, 2 and 3 holes.

What if someone made a stainless steel ring with an inside diameter slighter larger than the outside diameter of the carto so it could slip down over it?

By placing the holes in the right locations you could then adjust the ring from 3 holes all the way down to 1 hole and anywhere in between.

The benefits to this would you could make them at extremely low cost (pennies on the dollar), sell them for a decent profit and allow people to buy one cartomizer and use it for a variety of different juice blends with ease.

Not everyone wants the hassle of punching their own cartos, I know plenty of people on these forums who just want to open the package and vape 5 minutes later.

I honestly think I could have made a little bit of money off of this idea wanted to put it out there for everyone.Only thing I ask is that if someone uses it to please send me a pm and ship one out for free.

Thanks, Zapped

Doing this would be easier by slotting 1/2 of the cartomizer, then dropping a ss ring around that with a 1/2 slot as well. Then you could twist it to your desired length, and it would be perfect for any type of Juice.
You're definitely on to something, and i may take my hand at tinkering with it. I'll have to find a place to get some rings, and rubber gaskets that are wide enough to do this (you'd need a buffer agent between the ring, and carto to make sure it ONLY slides when force is given by hand, not by screwing the 510 cartomizer onto it's batter, or twisting the tank.)

I'll take my hand at it sometime in the near future, and will post results of several studies at different voltages, ohms, and flavor thicknesses if you want; but I'm not entirely sure as to when it may happen as finding the gear would be the first trick.

you could do this by having "2" cartos...... one reg size slotted and the other, a sleeve, on top. this way, you have a full carto length. the top cap would have to be nominally bigger. ive got the images in my head and cant draw by hand or pc to save my life......

Zapped, you and me will have to get together on this idea since we're "local" to eachother......

Two cartos - utilizing one as a sleeve would just be a waste of a second carto unless the second one is of larger diameter. I've only ever used 510's so I'm not sure what other size there is, but a local hardware store would be easy enough to find the necessary equipment to do this. I'm going to have to wait before I do too much money blowing venturing...my wife got piston knock in her car today, because she's been a jackass and ran it without oil because she neglected to tell me that her freaking oil pump light was blinking so now I'm on the hunt for a motor for her car >.<
Gotta love the women that think cars are meant to be driven into the ground; especially when it's their ONLY means of getting to work *le sigh*
Anyways, I'll take a few ganders around my house, and see if I can come up with anything to do this with; but if not then it'll be up to you guys :/
