I was wondering what the Ideal build for istick 50w with IGO-M v2 would be?

This is my first build and I want to know what wire-guage/coil-style/output settings I should be working at. I probably won't be maxing out the istick any time soon, mostly a flavor guy but I'd like to be able to attend the local vape meets every once in a while and have something that contends,or at least in the ballpark. Once I get aquainted with the pre-made coils included with the igo i'd like to shoot for a simple, 6-loop-each,double coil build while running cotton. If I were to wing it, i'd go with ...24awg? that's my best guess..lol. So pretty much, I'm looking for a versatile setup that won't burn my budget,or my face!

The IGO is still in the cart by the way lol. Is that a smart buy for a noob with flavor in mind and chucking potential when running 50w? I mean, I want cloud production when needed but that wouldn't be my daily rig. I like the IGO's as far as i've seen but I've heard they have pros and cons:unsure:

thanks folks!!

Hi Boxn00b and welcome to ECF!

As long as you build within what the iStick will fire at, you should be safe. And yes, the IGO is a good RDA to start on for both flavor and clouds - easy to build on, too.

As far as good setups for cloud-chasing is concerned, Here is a good thread on using regulated mods and the physics of coil builds:
My thoughts about sub-ohm and latest VV/VW devices...

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!
