On Vamo's it was the threads on the 510 connector. On sigelei's it's the fire button, on the MVP it's the center pin and eventually the non replaceable battery.

Don't get me wrong. I love the MVP. It's a great little travel mod. It vapes nearly as nice as my ProVari and it's super easy to take with you somewhere overnight.

But for my daily drivers I love my ProVari's. I know they will last, I like the look of the kayfun on them.

Hmm. Mine is a Smok Tech is there a difference?

REO's are great but they typically are not regulated. There are a few but that is not their "forte". They are basically a bottom feeding dripper mech mod with everything all in one. Since there's precious little to break, they are built like brick houses.

I was a big VW fan and was convinced I'd never buy a ProVari until it had VW. Then I vaped it.....well, I guess I can make VV work for me......

Thanks for clearing that up. Obviously I have a Provari, and for my needs, I haven't really looked seriously for a new mod since I got it. Dang that Gi2 though. RipTrippers has an awesome youtube video on it

I'd look in to the new Sigelei 20W (at FastTech for $84). It just received a glowing review from Phil Busardo for it's performance and build qualities. He mentions a few negatives, but nothing that should discount it from consideration. Overall he says it's definitely on par with DNA20 MODS. It's adjustable from 7-20W in .1w increments, fits both 510 and eGo tanks, can do sub-ohm down to .65 (according to Busard, though the literature says it'll go down to .5), and has readings for Ω, W, V, and battery charge. It can only use 18650 batteries.

There are a few features listed on the site that Busardo either missed or they are not there like a 5-20 second cutoff (this appears to mean that the fire time it is somehow adjustable, but Busardo said his is at 10 seconds and said others may wish to make it higher). I also didn't notice a puff counter or "settled vaping time" (whatever that means) during his review.

Since it's new one obviously can't make any claims as to its long term durability, but Busardo says it's built like a tank.

If not this I'd look at a DNA 20 or 30 device like the Opus D or the really cool NES controller MOD. The regulated MODs that are NOT PWM based will give a very smooth vape.

A Mech MOD with a Kick or Kick2 might also fit your needs, though it isn't nearly as easy to adjust a a true VV/VW MOD, but it will make your options virtually unlimited and still allow you to control the wattage.

I am probably going to go ahead and pick up the Sigelei 20W. I'm a little hesitant since it is new and doesn't have much of an established track record yet. I may also try and find a Sigelei Zmax Mini as well to have a smaller 18350 profile device.

Availability of the Seven 22 is pretty much determined for me that it will have to wait a little while. Still interested but..................
