I'm in Staten Island and I commute to Manhattan daily. It's almost a 2 hour commute on public transportation, and I go from a train, to the ferry, to the subway. It sucks. Anyway, I've heard a lot of good things about carto tanks here, and I'm currently waiting on an MVP 2 via vape mail. Figured that maybe I should try a carto tank on it, as it wouldn't be as top heavy as it would have on the iTaste VV v3. What's the most leak proof, easiest to use, least amount of hassle, tank set up you've ever owned? I do not have a way to really fix something on my commute, and as I keep everything in my purse I'd like to avoid leaking as much as possible. Right now, the Mini Protank II has been great on the iTaste, but flavor is rather muted then what I have ecperienced with the couple of iClear 16's I have. However, I can't really take the iClears on the commute as I've had problems with leaking. Seems that if they aren't kept on a completely upright position, they leak.

My recommendation would be an IBTanked pyrex cartotank. This will be a little more expensive than a Protank, but the advantages over a clearomizer will be better flavor production and a more consistant vape. They don't leak, and they are quite durable. The pre-punched cartomizers will last 2 - 3 weeks; zero maintanance other than refilling the tank with more juice.

You can purchase a complete tank setup for around $35, or for only $25 if you don't need a matching drip tip. http://www.ibtanked.com/complete-tanks Additional pre-punched cartos are available on the website: https://www.ibtanked.com/accessories/cartomizers

You will have the option to choose between four diameters in width (15, 19, 22, and 25mm) and three lengths (halfling, standard, and XL). I have over a dozen of these tanks. I've done a review of them here: IBTanked Review

I've never had a glass tube break, but should one break replacements are available for $3 - $7, depending upon the size of the tube.

Smok tech ARO... pyrex and stainless... never leaks, gurgles, or dry hits... Uses the same coils as a protank, or kanger evod... cant destroy them, and easy to fill... But a carto tank is great great great too...

Honestly a regular smok tech dual coil carto juiced up should work just fine for your commute. I keep a few filled up in a little case with a little EGO... work great chain vaping at the standard 3.7 volts.

So many options...

Baditude got me and half the world on IBtanks and they do work great Ive never had a leak or any kind of issue.
A nice lady gave me one of these in a sale once I liked the locking ring for throwing it in my pocket. I tired an AGR first but they are way to big. U-DCTank Tube 6ml
Ive never had a issue with this and its a cheap trial. I thought I would never really use it but I do find myself taking it when Im not just in the car.
Again Ive never had an issue with an ibtank in my pocket either but then you women and your purses who knows whats going on in there. :p

My everyday carry.

IMG_0498.jpg

Two 22mm standard size ibtanks in their ibtanked 'thingys' with 2 18350 spare batteries in 19mm ibtanked thingy's(with a little cotton to prevent rattle) and a backup backup itaste vv\vw3 all in a leather carrying case. I even have a spare tank tool\drip tip stored in the upper flap.

I am still searching for the 'perfect' holster for the neme in 18350 kicked mode with a 22mm ibtank on top. Currently I use a belt clip type eye glass case, but I am on the lookout for something better.

BTW, the leather case is actually a pill case holder made by Budd's leather. Amazon.com: Leather Vial Pill Case No. 4, Black, 0.30 Ounce: Health & Personal Care

Oh, and this would actually get me thru much longer than a day, but I like to switch up flavors thru the day, and would rather be over prepared than under. The leather case fits in my pocket, but for a woman that carried a purse, it would be even better imo.

I'll let you in on some info, when it comes to carto tanks you definitely get what you pay for. If you buy a cheap one you have a higher risks of leaks and bad o-rings than say on an IBTank. I got a 4.99 cheap 3ml one for my first and while it worked for about a week the orings went out on it, Baditudes recommendation of a better tank is well worth the upfront cost of it.
