First of all, it's NOT for me. It's for my Mom who quit smoking a dew years ago and vapes to keep off the cigs. She is currently using an Evod tank and ego style battery. She doesn't like direct to lung setups and wants something similar to what she has, preferably with a glass tank and must use readily available replaceable coils. She has issues seeing the juice level in her evod because of the tiny viewing windows and has run it dry and burned the wicks more times than I can count- I bought her a pack of coils about 3 weeks ago and she has burned up every one! Just looking for opinions before I just jump in and pick one up. I'll stick with my rda and subohm tanks between 50-100w though lol. Thanks for any input!

The best one I can think of is the Aspire Nautilus Mini and 5 packs of coils can be found at almost any local vape shop when she needs them (it comes with 2 coils). It is easy to clean, replace coils, and she can see the juice clearly. It will also screw right on to her Ego battery and it even comes with a beauty ring so it will look stylish on there. I mainly subohm but I always have a Nautilus mini loaded up within reach. It really is the best flavor MTL tank I ever used. For the coils just tell her to let it sit and wick for about 3-5 mins when she puts a new coil in. She should get at least 2-3 weeks out of these coils.

She definitely isn't going to do a rebuildable, I end up changing the coils for her and refilling, and I'm not into rebuilding tanks, so there's that. Thought of a mini protank 3 or nautilus mini, we'll see what I can get locally (and for what price!) if neither are available or too expensive I will probably order online.

If she likes the vape on the evod, and its just the tiny window that's the issue, then a mini protank 3 would be the way to go. Its essentially the same thing with a clear glass window and I'm pretty sure the coils are interchangeable.
+1 for the mini Protank. Also the Kanger T3S uses the same coils and can be found in glass (I've heard). Either should provide a vape that she's used to and Full view of juice level. The T3S has larger juice capacity than her Evod or the PT mini.

I have doubts about finding either in a vape shop tho.

I love my Evod Glass, but it has the same thin viewing windows as the original Evod, and it can be really difficult to see the level if the light is not right or if you are using a darker eliquid. I am an older woman, and sympathize with your Mom on that.

I just treated myself to a Nautilus Mini, after my daughter had gotten herself one and really loved it. I am ready to get myself another one, since I usually run 2 tanks with different flavors. So far, the original coil that came preinstalled has lasted me a week and a half, and still seems to be going strong. I tend to use sweeter eliquids at 50/50 or 70 vg/30 pg. The Nautilus Mini also has a larger capacity than the Evods, so I am refilling it less often.

My only concern with the Nautilus is that, like the Protanks, it is all glass. We have dogs and cats, and my CoolFire IV has been knocked down several times due to shenanigans. Luckily, it got knocked down when I had the Evod Glass tanks on, so no damage was done. I plan to get the metal and glass Nautilus Mini tank replacements when I order my second Nautilus, for a little more protection.

I have three Nautilus Mini's with a mesh stainless steel sleeve on each one of them. The mesh protects them from breaking and it's great because you can always see the level of juice in your tank. You can buy them from tons of different vendors. Most recently, I've seen one at My Freedom Smokes for around $11, but I've seen them in other places for around $6 or $7. You buy them separately from the tank. I also saw a stainless steel Nautilus Mini tank at vapeshop.com last night for about seven dollars. This one has a window in it to make refilling the tank easier. I have never broken my Nautilus Minis since using the sleeves. I think it's well worth the price.

Just another $.02 regarding the Naut mini - the glass is pretty thick and even without the sleeves, I only ever broke one and that was a fall onto tile while I was cleaning it. My buddy swore by the sleeves. I moved into rebuildables, but I thank the Naut mini for its service into transition off of cigs.
