I went to awsome vapor to get some banana and with each purchase they give a sample. Banana was ok but the sample I got was camel. It is very good, tobacco with honey, very good. Just repressed and got Hilton as a sample, now my new favorite. It has hints of allspice and ginger, almost like a faint egg nog. It is hard to find good flavors, that is why I love awesome vapor, the samples take the guess work out if it for you.

Generic advice:

Go with small bottles and get a number of flavors and nicotine strengths. If you can find sampler packs, that's great.

But try anything and everything that stirikes your fancy. Finding the right juice makes a world of difference.

I discovered that what I thought I would like I did not and what sounded weird was good. So, don't be afraid to go with flavors that are outside your first thought.

Buying small sampler type bottles is more expensive, but less expensive than having a few 30ml bottles of stuff you don't like sitting around. And the small bottles can be used when you find something great to carry around a smaller bottle on your person while out and about.

Caramel and Butter Rum are very good. They are usually blended with other flavors. Apple and Caramel is great. I tend to like those better than the fruit flavors. A Caramel tobacco is nice. The Cream type flavors give a good body to the taste. I also like the Nut flavors, pecan, and pralines. Oh and almost forgot Maple flavor is great blended with tobacco, or something like maple & pecan.

Sweet vanilla and my faves are Backwoods Brew Vanilla Bean and Tasty Vapor Butter Cream (with sweetened checked). Vanilla is so good and also a super mixer to save juices that don't hit the spot.

FreedomSmokeUSA Hopscotch is one of the most popular sweet flavors - very very good (sale right now - code memorialday for 25% off flavored juices)

I like Vixen Vapors Peach, Velvet Vapors Raspberry Ginger Ale (and have heard good things about their Velvet Vanilla and Blackberry).

Chocolates - it's a long search. I generally find "chocolate whatever" flavors not strong enough a chocolate flavor for me so I recommend as a menthol lover that you try WOWBoy from Vapor4Life - it is a dark cocoa tobacco w/ some mint added - I use the WOWbacco which si the same w/o the mint - so dark chocolaty very very good) . Go to Vapor4Life.com and sign up for their mailing (front page lower left - they have frequent good sales)

I also play around at Gourmet Vapor's Flavor Creator mixing up my own blends. I am currently working on a Peach blend (the peach flavoring is a bit light so I added 10% mango for that and added some other stuff). Sign up there so you will get their sale notice - infrequent sales but good ones and that is when I usually play And BTW the vanillarum there is very good (not my creation - somebody else's - vanilla, rum and caramel).

Definitely get a wide range of types of flavors if you're looking for something that you can stick with all day. I love fruit flavors, but I get sick of them if it's all I have when I'm at work. I'd recommend at least one fruit flavor, one minty flavor, one sweet/dessert flavor, one tobacco flavor, and one semisweet (? I can't think of a word for it) flavor like coffee or cocoa. Also, since you're a menthol smoker, make sure you pay attention to the descriptions of the menthol juices you order. Some will be menthol tobacco, some will be minty tasting menthol, and some will just be straight menthol, like a cough drop (which actually comes in handy to add a touch of menthol kick to other flavors). Anyway, my point is that you can't know what you will like until you try it. After the pre-filled cartridges that came with my PV, I decided that I didn't like tobacco flavor and I didn't order any in my first couple of orders. After reading a lot of praise for BackwoodsBrew's tobacco flavors, I tried one out and now I stick with tobacco for all 8 hours I'm at work during the day. Before I started, I thought that I would love cocoa and coffee flavors, but those are actually the ones I use the least. What I seem to have settled on is using tobacco flavors during the day and then at night switching to a drip tip and switching it up between sweet and fruity flavors while I'm relaxing.

And here's a list of some vendors I bookmarked that were recommended to me in a thread I started about e-liquid:
Ms. T's Bakery - Known for sweet/dessert flavors
FreedomSmokeUSA
Backwoods Brew - Known for tobacco flavors, but his other flavors are great, too - He's on vacation right now (it's a one-man operation), so you'll have to wait if you want to try his juice out
Alien Visions - They have 100% VG and 10/90 PG/VG juices if you like LOTS of vapor or have problems with PG - Also closed temporarily
Vermillion River
KickBassVapor
want2vape
Tasty Vapor
Vaperite
VaporBomb
Gourmet Vapor

Out of this list I would recommend Alien Visions, Want2Vape and Vaperite
