I have pretty much settled in on the mini T3 as my regular clearo. So now I am starting to stock up on heads. I am still cleaning my original ones and reusing them but just cracked opened a brand new one last night. Yeah quite a difference. But don't want to toss the old ones until I am sure they are completely dead. Just wondering what you guys do to keep track of your heads. The older ones vs the newer ones. Looking for ideas.

put them in a small baggie, labeled new, old LOL....seriously if they aren't dead you can just clean/dry burn them and they will work find. you and also rebuild them to save having to always buy new. :)

Oh I have been cleaning them. But one started to get a constant gurgle so I assumed that it was getting ready to go. The others are still working ok. And don't have the time for rebuilding. I don't mind buying the heads considering how long they have lasted so far.

I just take the little clear silicone grommet on the air tube and raise it toward the top, the older it is the higher the grommet. I re-seat the grommet before installation of course.

Hey, I just ordered some mini T3s from SI...are they glass?

No they are acrylic, but they don't taste like plastic at all!

Generally speaking, T3s gurgle from getting too much liquid into the atomizer housing. That is a sign that the loose, or flavor, wicks are in need of replacement. I use three or four strands from 2mm silica wick to replace them, trimming to fit. Combined with a dry burn it brings them back to like new.

I've never felt the need to dry burn. The few times I have tried it I don't get and vapor rising so I guess that is a sign that they aren't gunked up. Maybe it is because I don't use thick juices.

I just got mine last night...they're pretty damn cool! And yeah they feel pretty sturdy for acrylic.

I vape tobacco flavors, 60/40, exclusively, with no "added sugar". They do gunk up after fifteen or so refills and the output does start to drop off. I take off the flavor wicks, rinse thoroughly, then do the dry burn. The first few quick burns sometimes don't produce any visible smoke, but I just keep going with short bursts until I see the whole coil heating evenly to a nice red glow. After that, a blow out with canned air and maybe even a brush off with a small brush I have. A final rinse, new flavor wicks, re-assemble and it's like new again. It works for me, anyway.
