So I recently bought this mechanical mod, came with a fuse and 2 grey batteries which are generic ( ? ) 2000 mAh ICR.

Can anyone help my identify these and maybe offer some specs?

Thanks in advance.

I did a search, not much turned up. I did find a seller on Ebay ICR 18650 2000mAh 3 7V Battery | eBay

No specifications list, not even if it is a protected battery or not. Personally I wouldn't use any generic battery in a mod, especially not in a mechanical mod, without knowing any specifications or whether it is protected or not. Use these in a flashlight or throw them away.

i also have those batteries 2 and wonder if they would work with a kick.

DO NOT use these batteries with a Kick. The Kick requires IMR or hybrid "high drain" batteries. There's a large list of recommended 18650 IMR and hybrid batteries in the below link

Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected?

I recommend RTD Vapor as great supplier.

If I had to guess I would say, the little 9 year old that was forced to make that is tired of Americans and their need to purchase material objects and made a small explosive device to teach them a lesson! but that's just my guess and I have a warped mind

Out of curiousity, where did you guys get these mods with the mystery batteries?

They are shown with this KTS mod at bestecigarettesolution.com Not posting a link because that sight, being what it is, doesn't have any further info to provide about the battery either. It's called a "KTS Telescopic Storm" kit on the sight.

I bought mine from a local store. They seem to work just fine, and it came with a fuse...?

But I respect everyone's opinions about safety...especially about safety I should say. Name brand batteries are cheap enough, safety first.

Many thanks to all who took the time to reply.

You know, I'd rather they NOT include ANY battery instead of throwing in a junk battery that could be unsafe. Just saying.

Exactly. We don't know the manufacturer, we don't know the real capacity, we don't know the tested discharge rates... And If something bad happened you would be in front of Judge Judy explaining something like why you should get compensated for buying a dead used car that never saw a mechanic before you paid for it. (Apologies to Judge Judy.)
