If a ProVari doesn't feel right, don't order it

Up until a couple hours ago, I thought I was going to order the gun metal Mini & blue LED combo (with extension)..

Yet something felt off.. I wasn't as psyched as my prior 2 orders...


It was the Mini.. I don't like it.. Is that it? Am I sure?

Tested yet again my full-size in 490 mode.. I have large hands, and it doesn't feel comfortable.. It also feels like it's going to slip out of my hand...

The shorter & lighter "carry" isn't worth it.. Neither is the shorter battery life.. For me, anyway..

I was never wild about the tear-drops on the tube, either..


Start looking at photos of the full-size in 650 mode? Feeling better.. Now that thing is lookin' HAWT!

Wait.. I already have a black & blue full-size.. Too simliar to the gun metal..


I also heard Zen being interviewed within the past week.. He's working on new ZenKote colors..

Yeah, I'm holding out for my blue, dammit!


Gun metal? Scrapped...

Instead, I ordered a satin silver full-size (with extension) & red LED.. 650 budget model, baby!

I've been wanting silver.. I've been wanting red.. And call me weird, but my eyes & hands like those crop circles..

I also saved a difference of $52 between this & the gun metal combo...

Result? Feeling waaaay better about this purchase, like it should!

Congratz Gato!!!!!...you have to go with what you feel is right. I like the teardrops and I like the cropcircles, but most of mine are mini's - it doesn't seems to matter which I own I always add the extension to make it the larger size battery. All of my mini's currently running 18490 and both of my Standards running 18650.

My Satin Silver is also the standard with the red led, it's actually the "first" red led I purchased and it was #6 I believe. I was actually considering getting a mini Satin Silver when they had all those on the blems...but held off since I just purchased the Gunmetal.

Full size with extension is the only way to go for me. With 2000 mAh batteries I get 2-3 days of use without a charge, then another 2-3 days after a 30 second battery swap.

A full sized Provari with 18650 extension is still smaller than the ego batteries I was using before, and the heft perfect in my hands. Love it.

I also like the full size with extension for 18650 batteries. I like the longer battery life and the feel of the bigger size. For my 4th Provari it will also be full size with extension, probably the P3 when it releases. I just got my white/black hybrid in. I love it.

My first was a white mini. And impulse buy based strictly on price. I loved the fact that I finally had a Provari. But it wasn't really the Provari I wanted. Was not happy with the color or having a mini. My gf ended up buying me a full size silver blem a few weeks later for my birthday. Now that is a Provari I coould live with. So much so that I bought a second one. Another silver from the blems.
