If I don't like dripping with a 510, will I like a REO?

I started with a 510 and never liked it much. The eGo-T just seems to work much better for me in terms of vapor and flavor. That doesn't mean the T is without its faults.

I'm really drawn to the REO Mini for some reason, but I'm hesitant to take the leap. How does it compare to dripping with a 510? Should I try out a 510 LR to see if that makes the difference?

Maybe I was just doing it wrong... :)

To me, and I hated the hassle of dripping, but loved the flavor it produced... The REO allows you to get all the really great flavor of dripping in a very easy package without the mess and hassles associated with dripping. The batteries used in the reo's are much better than the 510 pv batts imo.
I use 306 LR's on mine...

If your dripping with a reg ohm 510 at only 3.7 theres good reason for why you may not like that, you surely should try and LR if you haven't yet but you may want to also try the 2ohm LR too. The Reo Mini is a great little device and the Grand even better. The bottom feed takes all the hassle out of having to keep pulling out that bottle and once you get use to squanking that bottle just so you may like the Reo mods very much, many do, including myself. Jump in !!!!

I guess it depends on what you don't like about dripping. :) Flavor? Vapor? Hassle?

Yeah, I should have clarified. I just never seemed to get good flavor or vapor out of a 510, whether with carts or dripping. I know most people view it as the gold standard of vaping so that's what makes me hesitate trying out a bottom feeder.

So...this is very different from that. You more than likely love this. However, if you don't....you will be able to sell it quickly for nearly what you paid for it so your risk is relatively minimal. With these you get more power to the atty....and when you use a LR atty, it makes a lot of difference. :)

Good points. I think I will give a shot, then. Worst case I can sell it for little loss... Assuming I can get my hands one one and they don't sell out in 5 minutes.

Hey there you folks with a collection of REOs. Yeah, I've seen the pictures. You know who you are. How about giving us first-timers a chance to get in on one before you gobble them all up? :)

Most of us REO vets don't usually get in on the new sales...to give you guys a break. I'm sitting this one out too! :)

Don't forget to register on his site, then go to the mod's section and select the color options you want using the "notify me" option and you will receive an email when he posts them for sale. :) It will help you navigate quicker if you don't mess around trying to register while a sale is going on...trust me on this.

I think you'll be happy with a REO, and if you aren't for some reason, it is a very low-risk proposition - as you have seen, they sell very quickly. You'll have lots of options - 510's, 306's, cartos, etc. I have every confidence that you'll find your sweet spot. You'll find this is a great place to get answers to any questions you have about these mods. Best of luck!

Wow. I've never seen such an enthusiastic group of users. It's one of the things that has drawn me to the Reo. Thanks for the offers. I will definitely try to pick one up and hopefully I won't have to take you up on it. :)

Is there a short list of atomizers I should try? For reference, I vape VG exclusively and gravitate towards sweeter flavors like Waffle, Vanilla, RY4, Tennessee Cured, etc.

I just got my grand in the mail an hour ago, and let me tell you. This is it. This is the best way to VAPE. I was smoking 5 packs a day, and have gone througgh 5 or 6 PV'S SINCE I quit, including a cheap plastic bottom feeder, and let me tell you. There is NOTHING that touches this mod. I have been looking at pictures of it for months, and been on the REO forum for months, and nothing, not my imagination could have of prepared me for the actual mod that I received today. It feels perfect in my hand, and I'm using everything the same from that plastic bottom feeder, and the difference is amazing. I am getting so much more vapor from the same batteries, same carto, same juice, and the squonking is so different from the other bottom feeder. It is so easy. You will fall in love with this mod. I now understand why people get so many, I now want more of them. But I kinda need to actually get a job before that, and I need to get my wife one first. Luckily sje hasn't tried mine yet, but she is going to get the cheap plastic bottom feeder in the meen time. I kinda feel sorry for her. But I digress, there is no way that you won't fall in love with this mod. If everybody started vaping with this mod, no one would ever go back to smoking ever.
