If I get sand in my grand......

will it still work? Planning a beach trip for this fall and was thinking about what vape supplies I'll need to take. Figured the grand would be the toughest to take but not sure how sand might effect it. Anybody take theirs to the beach and have any issues with it?

Shouldn't be an issue. You can put an o-ring on your atomizer and push it down till it's close to the reservoir and and it will keep most of the sand out of your reservoir.

The Grand is great because it can be rinsed under running water. (remove atty, bottle, and battery first!)

It'd be handy to take along a can of pressurized air to blow it out at night if it doesn't need the full bath like Mudflap described. I work under real dusty conditions and I blow my Grand out every night after work. The canned air does a good job.

Seriously though, I've sat on the beach at the cottage with my Grand and Mini. I was told the sand would hurt the threads on my GGs and honestly I'm glad I took the Reos to the beach. So satisfying to chill with a cool bottle of fruit juices and a fresh atty under the sun.

My Grand and Mini just spent a week on the beach and loved it. As a precaution, you may want to use SPF-30 juice ;-)

It's typically used to blow off electronics like the inside of desktop computers. Pretty handy stuff.

I'll give ya another tip from your ole uncle Brandon.. When you clean out your Reo Bottle (as opposed to any other inferior bottle) canned air makes a great blowdryer.
How would you keep your Noalox from become sandpaper paste?

Just used canned air and you will see
the sand blows off as easily.
